I believe that there is no S&H circuit in the Sub37 - the random waveform is digitally produced. And yes, you have the right idea about S&H, there just isn't such a beast in the Sub.

Exactly! It's a 'simple' machine with outstanding capabilities that provide surprisingly complex results. There's going to be latency if you use the SubP's keyboard. One way to do it is with another keyboard hooked to the arpeggiator and the MIDI it produces sent to the SubP.

New Mother-32 Day! Yay! came in yesterday, spent some time with it, got some amazing stuff. I left the recorder on, so when I go through it this weekend I'll post a few things on Soundcloud. Wow, what a musical little box...I'm kinda blown away.
