Re: New Voyager owner - damn!

thanks, stiiiiiiive. Your input actually helped me decide against buying a Virus . . . and then the day my tax return showed up, I found a great deal on this Voyager, it was meant to be. Soooooooooo glad I didn't get the Virus instead. The Voyager keeps blowing my mind. Most incredible ins...

Re: want to slow time to a creep? order a voyager

I didn't get to choose my flavor . . . bought it used for a great deal, so the Performer Edition it is. It's so beautiful already though, don't know if I could handle it all lit up  If I could spend twice the money and choose my own finish and backlighting, either walnut or mahogany with indigo...

Re: Post your latest purchase!!

whew, what a relief.

Yeah, I've been collecting my PA piece-by-piece for about five years now. It sounds pretty awesome. My bass player has a 2000w Ampeg with the 810 cab, and my guitarist has two Marshall 900 half-stacks, and now I can drown them both out if i want. :D

Re: Post your latest purchase!!

Really guys, how in the world do you post pics here?????????? I once tried the flickr option, by posting a couple of pics there, then posting the link (bookended by the "img" thing) and the pics never showed. Only the url appeared. I've asked in a few other threads and no one has answered...

Omaroo wrote:Wow - I've just taken delivery of, powered up and heard a Voyager for the first time. No-one told me how powerful these were. I can't believe how much grunt it has. It's not just loud, it's visceral - but warm at the same time.

Re: Post your latest purchase!!

right now it's going into my QSC PA, which consists of 2 KW135's, 2 K12's, and a K-sub (the 2-18 sub coming soon). So, I guess you could say it's going through 5 1000 watt QSC amps :D Last night I rattled the AC vents completely closed on the vaulted ceiling of our rehearsal room. (my neighbor...

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD! Nothing could have prepared me for this beast. I spent over six hours in front of my new baby last night, and the first thing I did this morning was switch it back on.

Re: want to slow time to a creep? order a voyager

yikes. Sure hope that's not the case with mine, would hate to ship it right back out. :( I bought it used from some producer in SC, claimed it never left his studio and only had about 20-30 hours of playtime, supposedly. He said that everything was working perfectly and that he went crazy with the b...

want to slow time to a creep? order a voyager

So, I ordered my very first Voyager on Friday, and it is supposed to arrive tomorrow . . . but Friday feels like months ago. Time seems to be slowing at an exponential rate, hopefully tomorrow afternoon arrives before I go completely gray. Don't think I've been this excited since I lost...

Re: Minitaur shipping!

Excellent question, Stiiiiiiive. I have purchased a couple of used 'foogers in the past couple years, and I was wondering the same thing. Also, I bought my SP a little over a year ago and never registered it, oops  Is that a problem, or can I still register it and just check the box that says:...

Re: Scared to buy a Slim Phatty-ease my fears

I agree with CNTRLSHFT, almost everything I've seen about people having problems with stuck notes ended up being user-error. I've had my Slim for well over a year, and the only problems that I've encountered were inevitably a result of my own ignorance, never the machine itself. I've used Ableton Li...
