Re: A modern polyphonic moog?
Moog Prog, have you ever turned down the osc to nothing and just hit a few keys or held one down? When I did this I just got pops, crackling and hiss coming through, it's loud enough that I can still hear the noise coming through even with the osc level at 12 o'clock (especially with cleaner wavefor...

Re: Sub 37 - Questions
Went ahead and implemented this Dan, worked like a charm, i'm already experimenting with adding different values to the Mod Dest in addition to the filter cutoff to get some more pitch dependant voodoo happening in my sound...
Thanks again.

Re: A modern polyphonic moog?
I reckon it'd be worth Arturias time to do something a long those lines.. For the record though, the noise floor on the Microbrute is heartbreaking, I love the concept, it's a cool little synth, but the crackles and pops in the background really killed it for me when I borrowed my friends.. I actual...

Re: That T3 weight..
That sounds like a fun idea actually.... I'm really hoping that if they figure out how to implement swing on the Sub 37's arp (Amos said he'd take a shot at putting swing in the menu when asked by Sonic State during their product launch video at NAMM) that it will be added to the Taurus 3's arp also...

Re: Sub 37 - Questions
Ah yes! That makes perfect sense.. Thanks mate. :D an excellent reminder of how sometimes you need to think outside the box a little when working with synths... (I get a similar sensation when I go back and forth between working with Pro Tools or Ableton actually.. instead of just making Busses with...

Re: Sub 37 - Questions
Not sure if this one has already been asked, but is there some way I can invert the keyboard tracking on the filter? I'd like the cutoff to get higher as the pitch gets lower.. I think the Taurus actually works like this by default? (not that you can adjust it... ) anyway, if someone knows how to do...

Re: Moog Sub 37 - is it analog, digital or hybrid?
honestly i'm really perplexed by how there could be so much confusion here.. you can click on any phatty, minitaur or whatever in the Moog line on their website, they all simply state "100% analogue signal path"... and yeah, the SOS review was great, I already own a Sub 37 and somehow it m...

Re: Rack compressor for synth?
Pedals are super addictive, like trading cards or something.
Have you used the Big Muff on synths before? I have the Deluxe Bass Big Muff, makes me curious about the full range one.. Wouldn't mind hearing your thoughts on the talk box also.

Re: Rack compressor for synth?
Depends what you call cheap.. but in my humble opinion the Drawmer DL241 "Auto Compressor" can't be beat in it's price bracket.

Re: Mooging—How do you Moog?
Heya MC - i'm curious to hear your thoughts on the MiniTaur as someone who already has a T1 and T3, especially as last time I saw a post from you on the subject you said you had no intention of buying one. I'd been considering acquiring one for the Osc Note Sync/Reset (I think some people call it so...

Re: Taurus 3 firmware update - v2.0.3
Amos - i just tried the FW update for the first time and the changes you've made are GREAT! My Taurus sends 14 bit/Dual Byte MIDI perfectly fine now, thank you very much. I can't express just how happy I am to have that working properly. Next on my wish list implementing a way to put rests in on the...

Re: Taurus 3 firmware update - v2.0.3
Thankyou Amos!!!
I'll try the Firmware first chance I get, really very excited to see what effect these CC updates have.
I'm sure it's not easy to live up to your own legend mate, but, mission accomplished!

...I don't suppose there are any weighted keyboards that you know of that *would* fit the Sub 37, Moog Music?

Re: Favourite sub37 presets?
the first one Rhythmic 5th is quite good after a few tweaks to get rid of that clicking, tighten up the tuning and changing the modulation rate to something that gives a result you can count against
