Re: Moog Matador

Sequencer or controller (desk top mp201) or a little bit of both in one. At least that is what the name suggests to me.

Re: FS Moog LP Stage cv out mod

And with the sale of the OT, a rush of anxiety. I'm a lot tighter with the Phatty. Wonder how that's gonna feel. Emotions for things, such a funny concept. Market on the Phatty is very soft right now. This will be the 3rd time I considered letting the Phatty go and the market has kicked it back to m...

Re: Best midi pickup !

You can open the minitaur gate by sending +5V to the tip of a jack plugged into the gate. Luckily the ring of the the other CV jacks sends out +5V. Plug one end of a TS cable all the way into the gate and halfway into pitch, vol, or filter cutoff.

Re: FS Moog LP Stage cv out mod

I am excited to dig in on a setup that is thought through to facilitate particular goals as opposed to pull off anything. And what is that? I have been focusing more and more on percussion. I still have to round up the lower value tid bits that aren't getting any love to round out the gear purge. T...

Re: FS Moog LP Stage cv out mod

I hope the OT finds its way back to me in the future. I love it. I just want to fund some other gear to explore. I picked up a Minitaur in December. Not a Phatty replacement but it eases the shakes. I never thought I'd leave the LP go. I sunk over $400 into getting it tip-top. I am excited to dig in...

Minitaur + Beat Step = portable goodness

Anyone else considering grabbing an arturia Beat Step to pair up with their minitaur?

Access the under the hood features, knobs, pads, and sequencer.
16 knobs, 16 pads, sequencer can run in the background while the knobs and pads are in use for something else, midi and cv.

Re: Share your synthesizer music!

Put this together for a science lab over on Elektronauts. The restrictions were MachineDrum only and use only two sequencer steps. No samples or resampling, i have an SPS-1. All rhythms and textures created using LFOs, retrig, internal delay, and a few manually triggered sounds. SoundCloud download ...

Re: SUB 37 Must-Have!!!

It still always baffles me how someone could carry a Moog (other than the Minitaur) in a bag. Maybe I'm just too much of a klutz. My crap wouldn't make it a year without a hardcase.

Re: Any Octatrack users?

The Elektron Users forum is locked and closed, but will remain up for reference. The new Elektron board is at: http://www.elektronauts.com Plenty of talk about Moog synths on the Elektron boards. With the lack of sub forums here, General Topics, seems to me to be the appropriate place to discuss Ele...

Re: vocals through midimurf?

Give it a try and post the result? I dont have one, thats why I ask... Cant find any demoes or audio samples or anything on the subject. Im getting either a murf or an oto biscuit. They are similar in that they are both sequenced filter effects. So, you can pull off some similar things. But ... the...

Re: MidiMurf as a Controller?

There is no midi out so you can't use a learn function, but assigning the CC manually works like a charm. No Filter cutoff knob of the murf though. It is a fixed resonant filter bank (though the band frequencies can be modulated by the LFO).

Re: SP Tribute?

It's a trademark registration for the name. The actual product does not have to match the description to registrar the name. Moog Music used a murf or animoog descriptions when registering product names for trademark in the past (the released products have had nothing to do with the murf or animoog).
