Re: Sub 37 Update bug/No midi
Did you have the 104 connected (via MIDI) to the Sub37 when you did the update? If MIDI Thru was on then you may have sent sysex to the 104 and hosed it that way...

Re: Sub 37 Audio Rate LFOs
Too many zeros. From the manual: LFO RATE By default, the LFO RATE knob varies the low-frequency oscillator’s modulation rate from 0.1Hz (one cycle every 10 seconds) to 100Hz (100 cycles per second). This can be multiplied 10x by using the HI RANGE button. 10 x 100 = 1,000 not 10,000. But, that said...

Re: Little Phatty Envelope filter pedal?
Yes! Note that a lot of the quackiness of the Mutron comes from the band-pass filter. A Moog filter is 24 db slope low pass and a different beast. I think on the LP you can set the filter to two pole (12 db) but it is still low pass. 2 pole with lots of resonance will get you part way there, but you...

Re: Korg SQ-1 sync in problem
The Mother herself has a nice attenuator on her: the VC MIXER can attenuate as well as add voltage. And mix, too!

Fun uses for the VC Mixer
The VC Mixer is pretty cool. It has some functionality that allows you to do do some stuff that you might otherwise need a separate module for. Here's an example: I often want to have the filter cutoff be modulated by both the EG and the LFO, but you can only have one or the other on the VCF MOD SOU...

Re: Using Mother 32 with Moogerfooger
Yes, certainly the uadio out into the Foogers is just fine and you should be able to patch them together as well, except that you will need 1/8" to 1/4" cables and/or adapters.

Re: Any Mother-32 Questions?
No OFF sequence that I know of but it pays to keep two things in mind: don't turn Mom off if she's writing something and I generally turn the volume knob down before power off.

Re: Looking for KB out advice
Actually, you could use the VC MIX on the Mother herself to do this. The knob is normalled to +5 volts when cranked fully clock-wise, so try this:
* patch KB OUT to MIX CTRL IN
* turn the VC MIX knob fully clok-wise
* patch the VC MIX OUT to your monotribe
That should do it!

Yes, and about the same price too! This is my next synth, unfortunately not until Spring. What I *really* want is the OB-6 but I'll settle for a single voice

Thats a great idea! You can S&H the LFO on the 251 and send that to the Sub through its CV inputs. Nice!

Re: WNAMM2016: Korg Minilogue
I have about a day with mine and it is very good. A nice compliment to the Sub37 and Moog sound in general. No clicks yet, great construction, the OLED display is very readable and intuitively informative. Lacks some mod capabilities, but makes up for it with the AWESOME waveshapers (and FM, and Syn...
