Re: Moogerfooger Reverb?
I have a Ekdahl moisturizer and I will never sell it. In addition to that reverb (which could easily be switched out with a different spring tank if you ever desire), it has cv in for damn near everything, cv out for the LFO, and one of the gnarliest filters I've ever heard. The resonance of the fil...

Re: Sound Design
Oh, I suppose 'Preben Goes to Acapulco' is the track with a lot of notable spring reverb.
Still, try to lay some on your Voyager and tell me you don't get into it

Re: Sound Design
Hey there. Also a Terje fan. His music will get anybody into synths, I swear.... I get some pretty similar stuff out of my Voyager for sure. One of the best things you can learn when you're starting out is how to really get good at hearing and creating filter envelopes. Go through the presets and tr...

Re: I just have to say...
I have a Voyager, a Mopho X4 and a Tetra (so a Prophet 08, essentially. I actually really like the DSI stuff. I used to think that it sounded sterile or software-ish, but when I really dove into the Tetra via the (crap) Soundtower editor I grew to love it. It's nice having so many modulation options...

Re: Creating Chords with a Voyager
Vasago and people like Vasago :) I keep returning to this thread, as I love my Voyager and the challenge of working with its limitations. I've been inspired by what a lot of the modular synth guys have been doing with their crazy sequences and clock divisions and LFO tomfoolery and their Makenoise M...

I have the same issue. Even with everything wide open I get no release. Pun intended....

Indeed. I see you're in Waukeegan. I'm in Chicago, so we're in the same boat. Er...plane.

Re: Selling tickets to Moogfest below cost
I'm having trouble finding a buyer for these. I'll consider all reasonable offers. Email me your ideas.
This should be a great fest. The daytime talks are worth going to Asheville for, in my opinion. I just can't afford to take a five day vacation right now...

Selling tickets to Moogfest below cost
Hey all, I bought tickets to Moogfest, but I'm now unable to attend :( I bought tickets for the daytime talks as well as the evening concerts. The tickets were $299 + around 30 dollars in Ticketmaster fees. I will let the tickets go for $275. So if you're planning to go anyway, you would get the tic...

Voyager as CV to Midi converter
Hey there y'all, I'm well aware of external boxes that convert midi to cv or vice versa. But I'm trying to figure out if I can use the Voyager as a CV to midi converter. I see people saying it can be done, but I haven't figured it out yet. I have the cp-251/vx-351. I would like to send a cv LFO, lik...

Sometimes it takes an hour or so. I have three editors from them, and they send out the codes by hand.

Re: Moogfest 2014 ticket tier schedule?
Fair enough.
I figured people might be veterans of the fest, though. The Coachella / Bonaroo festival boards are rife with Very Informed People, haha. I've gathered that there isn't a Moogfest equivalent of the Coachella board, though...

Moogfest 2014 ticket tier schedule?
Hey all, Sorry if this has been asked elsewhere already. Is the current lineup on the Moogfest website the final lineup that they're releasing? I know there are showcases by labels, etc, that will most likely include performers that aren't listed on the current lineup. More importantly for my concer...

DIY Slim Phatty rack ears?
Hey y'all I know the SP rack ears are only like $30, but say I was a cheapskate (and didn't want to wait on mail order) and wanted to improvise my own. Would there be anything particularly wrong with rummaging around Home Depot until I found some suitable small L brackets for each corner screw on th...

Re: Slims way out of tune after hours of warm up
Thanks for the reply! Yeah I obviously don't touch/move/bump them during calibration. Your story was my story until a couple months ago. Since then I've had to do your same calibration routine twice. I haven't done *all* the calibrations, just the tuning calibration. And I haven't changed the defaul...
