Re: Slim Phatty's Beautiful Lush Pads

Hi there guys! Im really glad u enjoyed and u r getting inspired too! That's so cool! I don't really think that u need to invest money in a sampler, ableton's is excellent! I tell u that i did'nt spend more than 40 or 50 minutes to record the waves. I just record, drag and drop in sampler, choose th...

Slim Phatty's Beautiful Lush Pads

Why expend money on a polyphonic analog synth when we have a moog and ableton's wonderful sampler?? lol Serioulsy, i was thinking about buying a tetra, perhaps prophet 08, but i decided not to be lazy and sampled my instrument. The results are far beyond my expectations, have a listen to those beaut...

Multitrack Moog Pads

Hi there! Why do we need to waste money on a expensive polyphonic analog synth if we can turn our monophonic moog into that? LOL Doing some experiments here, i recorded individual notes to form chords, then grouped those tracks and recorded into another audio track. Then, loaded into simpler and cam...

Re: How to get rid of "clicks"?

Hi mate! I have a TC Electronics Impact Twin as main audio interface. It's Firewire. It has 2 premium pre-amps for mics and instruments. I connect my SP into those. I have a Virus C wich i connect in the line inputs of it, and i don't have the clicks. I never had any problems with latency here, but w...

Re: How to get rid of "clicks"?

Hi there!

Yeah mate, that does the trick, but unfortunately takes a little bit of the punch away.

IT seems that the amp attack and release times have to do with it, also the filter's decay time.

Re: best audio interface 4 phattest bass

Hey mate

I have a TC Electronics Impact Twin and it's really good. It has 2 premium pre amps to convert your phatty signal.

I have absolutely no complaints about it, and the sound quality is super.

Re: How to get rid of "clicks"?

Hi there matey! Thx for the reply! Yeah, i tried that already, it works on some presets, in others doesn't. I believe these clicks are a normal thing from analog synths, maybe the only way to get rid of this is tweking the envelopes until it go away. The only problem is that it changes the overall t...

Re: How to get rid of "clicks"?

I have recorded a clip to ilustrate this better. It's a simple 3 notes bassline, you can notice that in the first note there's a click, but in the next two there isn't!!! This is driving me crazy here, i don't know why this happens. You can also notice when i open the attack, it starts to go away, a...

How to get rid of "clicks"?

Hi there I've searched the forum and i've found an old thread about this, but it seems it never got answered. I know there must be some people out there who notice those "clicks" right at the beggining of a note, when the filter is closed or at least almost 50% percent opened. Usually the ...
