I just got my beast 2 days ago, and haven't delved into programming yet. However, one advantage I can think of is that a lot of artists and producers will probably have it on the floor, but use it as a sound source via midi. That being said, they probably wouldn't want to have to get down on their h...

I'll also be using them as a midi controller to trigger samples from my Korg M3-m on gigs, and for running pedal bass from my Nord. It'll have many uses, I hope.

Oh, plus something about bowel crushing bass I guess ;)

Any Candians get their Taurus yet?

Hi gang, I was just wondering if anyone up here in Canada has gotten their Taurus 3's yet. Mine is supposed to ship in later today... I may have to roll up on the UPS hub up by Pearson Airport so I don't have to wait for the truck to come!! Anyways, fellow Canucks, let's see who the first ones are t...

It would be nice if Moog would comment on this, even a hint that they are considering it. Being that it won't be cheap, it might motivate some folks to start $aving now , if they do it as nice as the Taurus III,Voyager, LP, it will certainly be a must have . Agreed. I can't help thinking that there...

This is true Nikolas... don't forget that the Micro was an entry level product from 2006-ish... It was pretty cool for the time, and it's fun and small. The Radias definitely is a few steps up, and has the cool filter mode morphing function reminiscent of the old Mini Korg and others from back in th...

I think JWaltman brings up a very good point about the modulation! I have to say that it seems many of the things people want - other than the sequencer - are found in the Voyager. I'd still want Moog to be able to sell Voyagers. Whatever they decide - if they decide to do anything, it's important t...

You could try one of the new V stands from either Roland or Ultimate. The old 80's style A frame ones would work too. The Quik-Lok Z-frams stands would probably work. I have another Quik-Lok one that I'm hoping will work... I don't know the model number, but if the other choices don't work for you, ...

Yup, the Polymoog works. It's a very late serial number with all the reliability upgrades. Bought it in 1985 and it's held up real good. Doesn't get used much these days and there's no room in my living room for a Polymoog coffee table. Hey MC, KILLER setup man. You and CZ Rider are on a whole 'not...

Definitely good points raised here. I certainly see the value of a rack unit in addition to a pedal unit. I'll probably use my LP as a controller and play the sounds that way too.
