Moog is using NOS chips. Maybe the ICs currently in production don't sound as good, or maybe it it's the vintage scarcity fairy dust that helps to sell the Moog and EHX pedals. I hadn't thought of the lead process used to make BBD chips as a factor before. I wonder if Moog gets an exemption for them...

Well, this is a truly great update, but I still can't restore the BASE Pack that I purchased (even if it was a joke, I made good use of those timbres and want to use the presets I programmed with them).

It's not that it's cost prohibitive to make them, it's that the manufacturing is decades evolved and the machines that used to make the old BBD chips are no longer in use or production. So that means that it's cost prohibitive to make the machines that make the chips that would be cheap if manufact...

Nice to know that Animoog is finally getting an update! I'm on iPad 2, using iOS 8.3 with a clean install of Animoog. Everything was OK until the update, but I've since had a few crashes that I just can't attribute to the usual culprits (too many background apps, etc...) not sure if this is fixable ...

I'll only be able to test it in a few days.

What an awesome update. Looking forward to more goodies. Filtatron is an awesome app as it is, and with great potential for expansion.

I have updated and all BASE Pack timbres are missing. And frankly, the new timbre browser is a bit messy to navigate. Hope you guys look into this ASAP. Hmmm. I had restored purchases before that previous post, and now, after reloading the app the BASE Pack timbres do not show up as [missing] anymo...

Well, Landscape mode does work, but after opening Filtatron the iPad must be held in Portrait mode and then swung to Landscape.
