Re: Little Phatty tuning issue and preset button issue

Well, I guess the best option is to get in touch through the Moog website.
They obvisouly repair in Asheville, but depending where you live, you may have a repair center closer to you. You may want to consult the list of local dealers and ask yours whether they do this.

Hi Memn1979 and welcome to the forum!

You have a great setup, I'm sure the Voyager XL will accept to be controlled with your Etherwave Plus CV out ;)

Re: Using the EXT AUDIO IN to run softsynths through the moog filter

This would work, but only for monophonic played (= one note at a time) VST instruments. You can get some nice sounds putting chords through it. Sometimes paraphony can sound great. Yep, seconding that: I often use my Little Phatty to MIDI-control a basic polyphonic synth whose audio out goes into t...

Re: Little Phatty tuning issue and preset button issue

So unfortunately, that was all I could tell about your symptoms :/
If no one chimes in, your best bet is to contact MoogMusic support... but to be honest, given the LP is an old model, plus the recent big move in management, I'm not sure you can hope anything. But hey, who never asks never receives!

Re: problem with my MF-104M

Hi Iltocalt, welcome to the forum.

Weird.
Well, first thing, try to disconnect it MIDI-wise and test if it still behaves weird. No idea why a MIDI sync could lead to that, but that's a starter and others may chime in with more ideas...

Re: Little Phatty tuning issue and preset button issue

HI Freddy, welcome to the forum. I think the second problem is actually a side effect of the first one: the oscillator 2 frequency moves (by itself), hence having the LP detecting a change in paramter. Consequently, it indicates that the preset settings were moved. When you solve problem 1, I bet yo...

Re: Little Phatty Filter Question

HI elias_, welcome to the forum. Having a second oscillator wouldn't make any difference as they both go into this closed filter. Two settings can be involved here: - the filter envelope depth must be set to a high, positive value. The knob for this is located at the bottom center of the "FILTE...

Why not look at that topic, now that you've copied it letter by letter? Unless. you. are. a. bot. question. mark.

Re: "How accessible is Moog Slim Phatty for the blind?"

True, but I doubt this is easier than using the SP interface itself... Doesn't it add a step, or a complexity layer? Not sure.

Anyway, our original poster, HoumirKinkar, seems to have removed their post, so the context is gone, forever gone... :D

Re: Analog Delay for Sub 37?

HI and welcome to the forum, TorhanPiper :) I think any delay with a variable input gain will do the job. I have already tried the MF Delay with synths and don't remember having any problems. To quote only the ones I've personnally tried, here is a list of pedals that do work with a Little Phatty or...

Re: "How accessible is Moog Slim Phatty for the blind?"

Hi HoumirKinkar! I must say it's a very difficult exercise for me, even if I'm quite short sighted! What I can say is this. The buttons and knobs should be usable: the panel is quite clear, commands are well spaced and not to numerous: four sections with each one (circular) potentiometer and 2-8 but...

Interesting.
What about having a LP / Slim sitting next to the Sub37 and the customers to compare? :)

Although this topic was posted for placing a comecial link, just as the two answers above, it's a good topic :) (Guys, you are being pretty obvious here...) Many well known references were dropped here and I'm surprised not to see two more: - The Will Gregory Moog Ensemble - The Moog Cookbook , live...
