Re: Any recommendations for MOOG based albums

Although this topic was posted for placing a comecial link, just as the two answers above, it's a good topic :) (Guys, you are being pretty obvious here...) Many well known references were dropped here and I'm surprised not to see two more: - The Will Gregory Moog Ensemble - The Moog Cookbook , live...

Re: SP out of tune at high/low octaves

Hi hhuang and congrats on your new Slim Phatty! The Slim is indeed sensitive to temperature; depending on the later, the synth can take as long as 45-50 minutes to warm up. I've had 3-4 of them over the years and some took that long. Running the calibration routine was a good idea. However, it shoud...

Re: model d measurement

Hi!

Not sure what you are asking for: the height indicated in the manual must be the "total" height with panel set flat.
If the keys are lower than that, they will fit anyways, am I wrong?

Re: SUB 25 transpose issue

Seems like a calibration problem, then.

Not sure if reinstalling the firmware would solve that, but other Sub users might help here... guys?
In any case, if you have to do this, strongly consider archiving your patches before anything.

So you mean it's 7 steps off for all presets and the panel mode too?

Hi Joe_Gubb_f and welcome to the forum!

Do you mean only one preset is out of tune?

I don't think that's the video Lowboy is looking for; no backing track here.
It is cool though.

Re: Using EHX 8-Step Program with GM

Hi LosferWords and welcome to the forum! I've once used the 8SP with analogue synths without any hassle. Consider it as a CV source (no gate, only CV), like an LFO or expression pedal. Just connect its output to any CV input of the GrandMother, whether it is oscillator pitch input, filter cut off fr...

Re: Weird Phaser???

Yep, same guess here.

Either try to use only one oscillator or sync them.
Another solution is to detune them a litlle more so that the phasing is faster... may be more suitable :)

Re: New Moog in the works? "LABYRINTH"

I remember the "Matador" name being registered at some point, too.
The descriptions seem to be, if notgeneric, general. This one looks much like the MuRF, indeed. Let's see what happens!

Hi Diode!

I've just sent you a message about this, but I thought it was worth sharing.
Have you perfromed any particular manipulation to send again the firmware sysex to the Moog? Slow download rate, maybe ? Anything else relevant? Thanks in advance.
