Re: Polychaining two Minitaurs
Found this - • Poly Voice Number / Max: You can now “Poly Chain” your Minitaur in combination with up to 16 other Moog synths (Little or Slim Phatty; soon to include Sub Phatty and Sub 37 as well). Just send the same MIDI notes to all units, set the Poly Voice Max equal to the total number of synths...

Soooo... Hardware Disconnected
Is there a resolution for this? Current/beta firmware from the other forum thread. If I get presets, it shows disconnected in the preset list, then the message stays there superimposed over the preset list and presets won't load when I select them. Shows 'current firmware version as' 'sysex error'. ...

Re: Upgrade Little Phatty 1.03Sb to Current Firmware
Found this -
LP Stage (no USB):
There is no "FW UPDATE" menu option; your LP is always ready to receive a firmware update.
Just connect a MIDI cable from your computer's MIDI output to the Little Phatty MIDI IN socket.

Upgrade Little Phatty 1.03Sb to Current Firmware
Hi-
I just picked up a rather beleaguered LP and can't figure out how to put it into a mode to receive the firmware update. Since it's so out of date and since there's so much traffic on the 37, I can't find it by searching. Any guidance?
TIA,
CCQ

Re: Envelope Opening Noise - Minitaur
Thanks, Stiiiive. I have but it gets to the point where the swoop of the envelope just gets too obvious. I've got two examples attached to this message where I think I'm getting close. Is this an issue you come across?

Re: Envelope Opening Noise - Minitaur
I'm playing around with oscillator sync via the editor and that's making some gains but isn't quite it. Does no one else hear a click when they try to play a very dull low note? If I post the patch and a mp3, would you check it out on your Minitaur?

Re: 2 Minitaurs = Problem
If I understand your question, and if you don't want to automate knob turns in Cubase, you can use the Minitaur editor to set the 'CC Filter' to on, which should block the receiving of cc data to the Minitaur. Do you need the editor to send data to the Minitaur? Maybe it's the editor at fault - it w...

Re: Sub Phatty or Minitaur for bass?
I've had both. In my experience the Sub offers many more opportunities to make the sound more nuanced, or in the case of bass (in my opinion) vague. So it depends what you mean by bass. Of the many features that are there on the Sub and not the Minitaur, the pulse width is the one I miss the most wh...

Envelope Opening Noise - Minitaur
Folks - Any advice on how to minimize the clicking or popping sound you get when a note first attacks on the Minitaur? If a patch is bright, you don't notice it, but if you're delving the depths, it's very present since the pitch of the pop is higher than that of the note. It's particularly noticeab...

Re: Saving presets on a minitaur
From the manual- SAVE CURRENT PRESET: Press GLIDE + press & hold RELEASE switch; hold both for 1 second. Settings will be saved in the currently-active preset location. SAVE TO A NEW LOCATION: Press GLIDE + RELEASE switches; let go. You’ll see GLIDE and RELEASE LEDs flashing on and off. You can ...

Re: Minitaur Keyboard?
I would love a road-worthy MInitaur setup. A little spot for a delay pedal, a little keyboard with sequences or an Arp. I'm kinda winging it using a pedal board but someday the Minitaur suitcase solution will be mine.
