Midi is digital. CV is analog. To convert one to the other, you need an external converter.
Midi can be sent via DIN(stand-alone) and USB(computer). Both are standard midi, just different methods of sending it.(google is your friend..)

Re: Electro harmonix tube pedals....

If I'm not recording DI or running the voyager through a MarkBass amp, I like running it through my Fender Champ 600. Gives it a good, sizzling bite! Sizzling bite sounds perfect!! But Im running my phatty straight into my interface. All internal sound.. I have an EHX English Muff'n (tube overdrive...

I thought about this a while back..

Re: Electro harmonix tube pedals....

Cool.. The right kind of overdrive is worth its weight in gold!!! I process all my audio through 2 phatties.. When the second phatty got coloured with a different character, it made the first phatty stand out and sound even better! Just need to find the right one. Hope I got it right.... Everything ...

Re: Off topic.. Microphones and electronics?

Thanks. This may sound a little strange, but I need the mic to be in a constant muted state with the abillity to momentarily un-mute it with same hand as I hold the mic while singing. All my limbs are very preoccupied in the midst of performing. Not sure if I have any other alternatives without usin...

Im thinking about getting the Shure 577B for live use. (Screaming and singing.) It is originally made for voice communications, but for several reasons ...
