Re: Does sub37 converts usb in to midi out?

I confirm it, it did worked perfectly for me :-)! So, what I did: -connect MF-104m to Sub37 via MIDI cable -connect Sub37 to Macbook Pro via USB -set the Sub37 to replicate USB in to MIDI out as explained by Demon-Dan up here -Put the MF in receptive mode holding down both tap and bypass while plugi...

Re: Does sub37 converts usb in to midi out?

I'll try tonight.
In the meantime, how can I tell the firmware version of the MF-104m?
Is there a combo to hold when booting?

Does sub37 converts usb in to midi out?: YESSS

Hi,

I would like to know if the Sub37 will translate sysex file from its usb input into midi on its midi output.

My aim is to update a moogerfooger firmware through the Sub37.

Many thanks for your answers,

Greg

Hi francklinstower, That's a nice turn you did :-). Please can I ask you to contribute to this thread, just for the records: http://forum.moogmusic.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=23186 ? It helps us all to track down whatever problem (or no problem at all) to render a better picture of the Sub37 forces...

Re: Least used feature on the Sub 37?

FDBK is nicely welcome to compensate when resonance eats up too much volume, as Multidrive too. Noise is great for wind, shores, stuff like that. The new sequencer functions are great. I found an interesting trick: place the end note before the first note, and one can alternate to parts of the seque...

Re: Sub 37 Stock at Step 1 (BRICK)

Can you give us a few more informations? Mac/Windows? Did you try to install the last firmware v1.1, or some older one? Did you use the fully automated new installer or did you try to upload sysex files with some tools? And I agree, as panicking as it can seem, brick isn't the correct term here. If ...

I got one for the Sub37 as it seems. Let's see if the MF-104m will give a reaction :-).

That and a Strymon BigSky.

Next days will be epic!

Re: Programming the squencer

ratchet is a way of playing twice or four time, or eight times the sequence note, hence replacing a 1 by two 1/2 or 4 1/4.

Maybe you can try and enter C, D, D, E, then tie both 2nd and 3rd together by clicking and holding 2nd and 3rd steps (when displaying them with latch + bnk)?

Re: SUB 37 LFO 2 RATE LED ISSUE?

I rather say it's normal for the sawtooth and ramp waveform. They truely go to 0 an infinite short time, just before or after being fully lit for an infinite short time :-). This all blurs in a dimmed LED, never fully off. Besides, if the square wave if half of the time fully shut, that's a proof no...

Re: Found a little display bug in FW 1.1

be sure also that in your preset, there is truely no modulation of the cutoff filter value. The filter cutoff mod pot can point at 0, but the preset truly is higher/lower than that. Let's try to turn the knob from lowest to highest then put it back to 12 o'clock to be sure you override whatever valu...

Hi,

What does Moog uses for that particular Keyboard? Would it be possible to upgrade that part only, using another Fatar or else?
