Re: Filling in the Moogerhole
Do yourself a favor and pick up a male TRS > female TS adapter to use with the tap/step CV in. You can find them at Radio Shack. Thanks for the tip on this! I'd gotten the adapter and was getting varied results with just the XL. Tempest was a little clunky to get routed, cabled right to make it fun...

Re: MF-104M Discontinued?
I just got the 104M sn 3977 from KeyMusic Brussels, Belgium :-). That and a Strymon BigSky. Nice! I've been looking at the BigSky for a while! What a wicked little box! As soon as I recover from my 'fooger splurge, I'm hitting that next...unless Moog offers a reverb alternative, of course *cough, h...

Re: What's going to replace the 3 foogers?
Seeing as the MF-101 came out in 1999 and there are now miniFoogers on the table, perhaps Moog wants to cater to the guitar market with the more limited models and branch out into proper modular at the expense of full 'foogers. I'd love/hate to see an updated flagship synth. Seems like modular is t...

What's going to replace the 3 foogers?
So, they've discontinued the Freqbox , MidiMurf and Analog Delay ...That leaves a pretty big space to fill, I'd think. The delay has always been advertised as limited because of the chips, but the other two seem to be fairly beloved and well used. I'm wondering if there is something new in the pipel...

Voyager XL + Microbrute CV Questions
Hey Guys, CV is still a fairly new exercise to me. My only experience so far has been my foogers and xl together - which are, obviously, all compatible out of the box. I wanted to dive a little deeper into CV and add some new sound options to play with my XL and Foogers - so, I scored a Microbrute a...

Re: Time For New Moogerfoogers!
I'd really like to see a reverb unit and, perhaps, an affordable sequencer alternative to the Cirklon.

Re: End Of The Road for MF-105M & MF-107
Hey Dan - I've noticed you've been hinting at the impending discontinuation for a minute...any insight/hints/knowledge you can share with the rest of the class about what's brewing in the moog labs to take their places? Or even why they chose these two to put on the chopping block? I'm excited to se...

Re: Discontinuation of MF-107 and MF-105m
I'm glad I got my hands on my white MidiMURF when I did (very recently)! The Freqbox never found a place in my setup, though - although it's been something I'd kept my eyes out for in case I ran across a deal... Is anyone else a little surprised that these are the pedals they're discontinuing? I kin...

Re: Filling in the Moogerhole
Thanks for the advice! I'll head up to Radio Shack today. I've downloaded the app, but I haven't had the chance to fire it up and play, yet, but I will definitely get to it. AT the end of the day, I figured the worst case scenario is I'll run it from one of my older XP boxes to save patterns.

Re: Post your latest purchase!!
I finally finished my fooger rack - rounding it out with the Murf, yesterday. It was starting to get tough finding the white edition and I didn't want to miss out. It was rough spending the extra bones to get all white (I've found all of them for 50-100 less used in black)...but, I'm glad to have th...

Re: MIDI delay/jitter
I've had to adjust logic for mdi/audio latency before. I had to do something similar that the following video I found for cubase shows: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9LxZ7dIb7Yg

Re: Settings randomly changing
I've noticed that the voyager is very sensitive with CC messages (it rx/tx on a LOT of channels). I'm not sure how to do it in ableton, but, in Logic, I've found that sometimes I can accidentally record a random CC message (turning a knob on another MIDI device while the voyager's track is highlight...

Re: Share your synthesizer music!
Hey Guys! I'm gonna throw my latest work into the fray. I've been playing synths, programming, playing bass and writing songs (with my singer/cowriter) in SlowEarth since 2001. We've released 6 albums and this latest one was an absolute bear. I actually worked on it for almost 5 years! It's a concep...
