Re: Grandmother compared to a voyager
OBXA for 500 - wow! Too bad you sold it. So far loving the OBX8, it really does have the legendary sound. The One is amazing too but much more work to coax a great sound out of it I think. Thanks and no, I live in the non-cool London Ontario (Canada) lol Not sure about the Voyager - site in it's roa...

Re: Grandmother compared to a voyager
I love my Old School. It makes it onto most of my tracks. It is basically the same analog part of the original Voyager - has all of the same features (including continuously variable sharps, etc.) and the modulation is a little more customizable. Otherwise, its a voyager without any of the digital s...

Re: Grandmother compared to a voyager
I have a voyager, voyager OS, and a Grandmother and the GM is very different from the Voyager. I really have enjoyed the GM and patching abilities and find it a super fun and lovely sounding synth but different than the Voyagers sound. I'm not sure, but would expect the Matriarch more similar to the...

Re: Fan Noise + Other quirks?
I've had a 16 for a couple years now and I don't notice the fan noise (the back of the 16 is about 8" from a wall). I can sure hear it on start up, and during warm up it creaks and pops but I don't really notice that anymore. I have several older analog synths and tend to fire up all of the gea...

Re: dipping into modular advice?
I picked up an Erica Synths Black MIDI/CV and have been playing with the M10 paraphonic - love it, so much fun :) Then I look around me at my Moog One 16 voice, Prophet 6, OB6, OBX8, AX60, Roland FP and think 'oh boy M10 2 voice paraphonic' LOL but damn I just love it :) Synth players are weird (spe...

Re: 2019 Moog model 10 owners, how do you feel about the Model 10 2022 upgrades?
FYI - I reached out to Moog via the chat function and inquired about the possibility of improved tuning stability for anyone that purchased the original reissue and was told - after I indicated I was from Canada; "The Model 10's tuning stability is largely related to improvements in the switchi...

I also have one (just got it a few months ago) and ya, I kind of know how you feel. I do love it and it's super fun. I'm getting good tracking across a few octaves (after warm up) so it's not a big deal and I was expecting a truly 'vintage' experience so I'm good with it. But ya, I hear you. Is a li...

Re: dipping into modular advice?
After a month or so with the 10 - it is awesome and the sound is like butter. I had a pretty bad pitch problem tracking the keyboard but after some digging I added an Intellijel Buff Mult between the M32 keyboard CV and the M10 oscillators and it's solved my issue. I'm pretty good across about 4 oct...

Re: dipping into modular advice?
Hi all, quick follow to this. Took almost a year for my M10 to arrive (SN 85) and have it set up with my mother 32 as a CV controller using a QMVS-48 cable. I can use the on board sequencer on the M32 or via midi. So far so good and super fun
