Re: Sub 37 manual update

Fairly sure Moog will update the Sub 37 User Manual's PDF as well, which would be very environmentally friendly to just either print it out at home or place on a flash drive and take to a place and have it printed and bound...would save Moog a lot of $ via these means considering Moog went above and...

Re: sub37 version 1.1 release date?

I would much rather see Moog taking their time to fine tune and ensure it is a bug-free release and do it right, which I have no doubt it will be. It will be ready when it's ready. I am also hoping for a much more streamlined updating process...like an auto-updating algorithm via USB...would be nice.

Re: Sub 37 EG

Hi all, While adjusting some VERY COOL SOUNDS! (I love this thing), I've started adjusting the EG. I get some cool ADSR effects however when I Turn all the EG's to zero, I simply get a single pop in my speakers for each key press. My wonderful sound creation is gone. What am I doing wrong, or is th...

Re: Build question on S37

^ I hope you realize THAT has absolutely nothing to do with Moog's "build quality" but rather, the gorillas that manhandled your package. It's the number one reason I always opt for insurance with musical instruments regardless of the shipping method...it saves a lot of heartache and YES, ...

Re: Sub 37: how to re-create the sound from Any Colour You L

Oh stop being a know-it-all, it can still be fun to recreate sounds to the best of your ability and see how close you can get without Pick Floyds same equipment, YEESH. That's all well and good but it's paramount to learn at least the basics of subtractive synthesis like the back of your hand so wh...

Re: Moog Sub 37 fw update 1.0.6 failed

I really hate that Elektron C6 program and hope and pray Moog make an auto-updater solution instead of this third party solution. Constant problems with C6 and Win 7 64 bit but have no issues with any other programs.

Re: Sub-37 Editor beta version

Sorry, but could not agree MORE with MOOG!! You people come across as self-entitled children than anything else. You apparently do not grasp what the word "proprietary" means. Open Source is not a common practice with any self-respecting instrument maker. Buy a Mutable Instruments ...

Re: Slim Phatty DISCONTINUED...what's next?

^That is exactly what I am hoping for and only makes sense but would not expect anything announced for a while or at least perhaps NAMM 2015 or so because Moog is still producing the Sub 37 Tribute Edition so it's really anyone's guess. Natural evolution of a small company making room for further gr...

Re: Sub 37 - Non-Tribute Edition?

I have to agree that this has been the best $1500. spent on a synth in a long time (other than my Poly Evolver Rack earlier this year). The Sub 37 BEGS to be experimented with and I for one, actually like the keyboard action and entire aesthetics of the instrument. "Instrument"...it feels ...

Re: can't sleep

 Have not got much sleep and have had Sub 37 now for shy of two months. It beckons to be turned-on at 3 a.m. with headphones and next thing you know you are hungry for breakfast and missed a few calls. It's a creativity fun factory!

That was great! Inspirational and full of energy! Just switched-on my Sub 37... :D

How many tracks and was that all Moog in later string...like through poly chorus or something, or something else? Very nice!

Re: Sub 37 feature suggestions - firmware updates

I absolutely *love* the latching/looping envelopes. Perfect for drones and progressive programming of a held sound. My request is to have more of an auto-update implemented rather than having to send four different files and absolutely do not like Elektron's C6. I truly am afraid I will 'brick' my S...

Re: Sub37: I wish I could fit it in my pocket?

Honestly, the only thing wrong with this synth is that I can't drag it into bed i hope you are not suggesting the Sub37 should act as a replacement in bed for the opposite gender? that would certainly be sexist. There is no room on this forum for sexist behaviour and i for one think this thread sho...

Re: sub 37 screen went blank all the lights are on

First few posts here and love my Sub 37. **However** @Amos- Is there any plans of making this update process somehow an automatic process rather than having to send 4 separate things, let alone use C6, which I just absolutely abhor anything produced by Elektron? I know there's MIDIOX and others, but...

Re: Sub 37 dust cover (Little Phatty dust cover) too tight

The cover I just received for my 3 day old Sub 37 indeed fits like a glove but as aforementioned post suggested, placing the back half on then sliding the front top half on, then place straps on each corners-all works a charm. Matter-in-fact, after placing it on and off a few times, this high qualit...
