Which Emu's are you referring to just out of curiosity?

Re: Technical Limitations of Moog Modular Synthesiser
Get your hands on a Model 15 and compose with it for a couple of years. All your questions will then be answered. Problem is, you'll have even more questions than you started with. Trying to write a paper about a synthesizer that you have little to no hands on experience with is like trying to write...

Re: tempo variation on power up
Yes, you can destroy equipment by plugging in an incorrect voltage. Sometimes the + and - are switched, other times the voltage is either too high or too low or the PS is not rated high enough. I always mark each PS for the instrument that it's designed for. A second piece of tape near the barrel ma...

Re: Anyone actually built a modular synth out of foogers?
Here's a recent synth meet that I attended in Seattle. Two of the Mothers belong to friends as well as the MiniFooger Delay. The rest is a sample of my Fooger collection as well as 2 Werkstatt's and a Voyager.
Does a table full of Foogers work well as a modular synth? Hells yea...

Re: I may have screwed up....bought Moog 104z
I'm with Dan on the 'set the delay time by hand' usage. I've personally never thought that I'd want to sync any of my Foogers up (and I do have duplicates of most of them), they just sound so good when I run them in series and without any MIDI. I can't recommend any of them in particular as you've n...

Re: Settings for intimate jazz vocals..
For vocals, I would stay with digital delay and reverb. The Analog delay (any make or model) will colour the sound perhaps more than you want. Digital really shines here.

Re: Using clock without the sequencer running
It's a small one voice modular. If they put everything in it that people wanted, it would become something quite different (plus more expensive).

Re: "Rest" bug on Step 1
I haven't explored Step mode yet, this bug was found in KB mode.
Thanks for trying it out. The guys at Moog haven't been able to recreate it either yet. Perhaps the bug doesn't exist in Step Mode.

Re: Mother-32 drone mode in VCA Mode "ON" / Sine wave issue
Thanks for bringing up this issue gang. It's great feedback for Moog as they will have to track down what's going on... which will only give us a more finely tuned machine. I tried this patch out on my two Mother's today and it works well, just as Craig found. Truly nice sounds coming from this patc...

Re: Mother's behavior
Best bet is to call the gang at Moog. Email sometimes gets lost in the cracks. They are the best ones to determine what's going on and how to address it. I sent in a firmware bug and they said they'd be right on it and release it in the next update.

"Rest" bug on Step 1
I just tried this out on both of my Mother's and got the same response. I have a 16 note sequence running and then I make the first step into a rest. Trying to make it a note again doesn't work until I make step 2 a rest, remove the rest from step one, take it out of record then back into record and...
