Re: Minitaur firmware update soon - your requests here pleas

Knob mode is a global setting, it is saved but not per-preset. The default knob mode is Relative, not Snap. Perhaps try sending the "reset globals" sysex if you haven't. http://www.moogconnect.net/downloads/minitaur/_Minitaur_Factory_Restore_Cmd.syx doesn't fix issue. when i power up mini...

Re: Minitaur firmware update soon - your requests here pleas

Ha, figured it out. It turns out that implementing the "hold glide, push release" method still activates the Glide button. So, you have to turn glide on, then employ the finger-dance, which will actually turn the glide off before saving the preset. Fairly confusing, but I assume this is t...

Re: Minitaur firmware update soon - your requests here pleas

Holy Crap!!! I can finally use this flipping thing. Presets do seem to save properly from the hardware, software is still a Joke though. Hopefully the new software will not blow donkeys and hopefully Moog has learned to farm out there software in the future. Waiting this long for a functioning edit...

Re: Minitaur firmware update soon - your requests here pleas

I'm on 2.22 Whenever I power up minitaur, OSC 2, regardless of the location of the pot is tuned about 5 semitones above OSC 1 I have to manually sweep the knob to +1 Octave for the synth to "catch" the knob and get back in sync, every time i boot. Pretty much killed me on the opening song ...

Re: Minitaur firmware update soon - your requests here pleas

I'm still finding lots of bugs with the firmware. When I save a preset from the front panel, my release settings go out of whack. That goes for all the envelope settings, things are just off. I'm actually finding I prefer the Rev 2.0 way of setting release, it was more stable with presets. LFO value...

Re: Minitaur firmware update soon - your requests here pleas

I continue to have many of the same issues detailed here. The librarian is very nicely designed etc, but almost useless - I also get the strange phenomena of my presets, once ported over to the minitaur, not being located in the slot that I saved them in. In the library editor I line up my presets a...

Re: Minitaur firmware update soon - your requests here pleas

I use a the Minitaur with an AKAI MPC sequencer. Program Change works quite well - I make presets via USB and then recall them from the MPC. I wish I could create presets on the fly with out a computer, but understand that the hardware is limited and that this might just be impossible. The only MAJO...
