Re: What are these things?

And yes, the Drive is the Minifooger I want the most. If you are in the NYC Metropolitan area, "Main Drag Music" in Brooklyn is reporting (on FaceBook) that they will have MiniFoogers at a "Stompbox Exhibit" NEXT Sat/Sun (19th/20th). It may just be Moog onsite with demos but if ...

Re: What are these things?

Just get an EHX DMMw/TT 550 for the cost of two Minifooger delays. Not only does the tap tempo actually line up with a metronome/steady beat (unlike the MF104m"s) but also he only thing it's missing is variable waveform modulation, which you can easily add to the effects loop. The DMMTT's chor...

Re: Minifooger Delay - Pro Guitar Shop guitar demo

Excellent demo.

The video mentions a demo of the Drive pedal. Hopefully they will upload that one too, as PGS usually does very good pedal demos (not just blues wanking).

Re: What are these things?

Who started this myth that guitarists are conservative? Just about every guitarist I have ever known has spent about an equal amount of money on drugs and tattoos. 8) Not that kind of conservative. "Every guitar must look like a Fender or Gibson" kind of conservative. You know full well t...

Re: I want one, but...

...please just change the way it looks and get rid of the plastic parts, 'cause that thing is damn ugly ! I don't think this is a Moog product anymore. Paul Vo went independent with this one. Try contacting him. Maybe he'll make you a diamond-studded gold one or whatever if you're willing to pay fo...

Re: What are these things?

I'm not sure what these Foogers are supposed to be. Are Moog grabbing the stomp box market hoping people will upgrade to the big Foogers? Unlikely Will these Mini Foogers steal market share from the big Foogers and come back to bite Moog? Look at Apple. Sold way more iPhones than Mac computers, whi...

Re: Any Octatrack users?

Also, the elektron-users forum seems to be retired. This is one everyone moved to, and it appears to be quite active:

I did not notice distortion when I tried the presets in Demo Mode.

Try creating a blank project and see what happens.

Re: New To Minimoog Voyagers - Question

It sounds like the Performer and Select Series are essentially the same animal with the exception of the backlighting correct? Take a look at the attached link to Sweetwater here. http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/VoyagerPerf/ This "Free OS Update" they speak of. Is this something sp...

Re: New To Minimoog Voyagers - Question

I have a Voyager Performer Edition. Very happy with the sound. The previous owner did replace the original wheels with backlit wheels. I haven't noticed any noise added by lights though.

I'd choose the Perfomer over the Select if I had to choose again, for reasons stated already by others.

Re: Any Octatrack users?

Hmm, according to that thread on elektron-users, there is no indication the prices are going up only for US customers - could be a worldwide price hike.

You should be good though if you purchase the OT before the end of the month.

Re: New product to replace LP?

Mellophatty - digital Mellotron with Moog filters, ribbon, poly aftertouch, and all new LFO3 design.

In production 2015, after Moog Music acquires the rights to Mellotron and the M4000D designs from that dude in Sweden.

Re: Any Octatrack users?

The Octatrack audio tracks are all in stereo. You can control the stereo balance too for each track.
