Re: Mother v Boomstar v XS v SE-02?
Yeah, the SE-02 looks fantastic in the video. But I'm wondering how they can offer so much synthesizer for only $500? We'll have to see what others post about build quality etc.

Mother v Boomstar v XS v SE-02?
I'm looking for a new analog synth. My first and only synth is a DSI mopho module. It sounds great and works flawlessly with my midi gear, but it is difficult to design sounds because most of the parameters can only be reached through menu diving, which I've found that I really hate to do. I love my...

Knob position midi CC values?
Does anyone know what midi CC values (0-127) correspond to the knob positions on the MF-108m? Is there a linear relationship to the position of a knob and the corresponding CC value (ccv)? For example with the time knob (tk), does 0tk = 0ccv, 5tk = 63ccv, and 10tk = 127ccv?
Thanks
Thanks

minifoogers in effects loop?
Can anyone share with me how the minifooger ring mod, chorus, flange, tremolo, and delay sound in the effects loop of a high quality tube amp?

MF'ers in a slide out rack shelf
Does anyone have their MF'ers in a slide out rack shelf? How many rack units in height does it take?

Midi to CV
I see that some of you are using the Doepfer MCV4 as a midi to cv for your MF'ers. After reading the MCV4 manual I'm a bit confused on their dedicated cv output designations such as note, velocity, etc. Can each of the four MCV4's cv outputs be used as cv control for all of the MF'ers?

MF Knobs & Jacks on a PC Board or Point-to-Point?
Have any of you ever seen the inside of a MoogerFooger? Are the knobs and jacks soldered directly to a PC board or are they point-to-point wired?

Re: MF104M Midi Controller Question
For the functionality you seem to be looking for, you are going in the right direction. You owe it to yourself to check out the top of the line midi foot controllers by FAMC music. Even the smallest of their controllers can do all that you ask, plus much more as you develope your system. I use mine ...

Midi Time Lag?
Anybody controlling either the MF-104m or the MF-108m with midi? If you send a series of midi messages to change multiple parameters on these units, what kind of time lag is there?

Re: Running Two MF-104m's Together
Thx for the input. I'm going to try and demo a cluster flux and two MF-104m's (too bad there aren't any SD's available) in series together in my amps FX loop along with my spring reverb to see if I can pull off some big sounds like I've heard with the Eventide Eclipse. Another benefit of going Moog ...

Running Two MF-104m's Together
I love some of the huge and lush sounds of the Eventide Timefactor, a big part of which is it's dual delay engine. Have any of you ever tried running two MF-104m's together either in series or parallel?

MIDI Controlled in Effects Loop
I'd like to try an MF-104M and an MF-108M rack mounted and routed through my amps effects loop. These devices would be controlled by a MIDI foot controller which can be configured to send multiple MIDI messages with the press of a button to, in effect, call up presets. I'd be interested to know if a...

Re: Green Hardware Sequencer?
Nice. I'm new to sequencers. I've played with a DSI Mopho's sequencer, and when I press a key on the keyboard the entire sequence shifts to that note as the first step and all other steps shift accordingly. Does the Orb sequencer work the same way?
