Re: M32 + Freqbox = Pitch?
You might need to use an attenuator to adjust the CV (from the Mother 32) a little as the Freqbox wasn't set up as a perfect v/Oct at the factory. You can supposedly callibrate and tune the Freqbox if you know which trimmer(s) to use. Another easier option would be to run the audio out of the Mother...

Re: Moog Mother-32
At Knobcon, I was in a room with 3 of them. They had 2 racked one above the other and another loose on the table. They were fully functional and certainly not fake by any measure of the word. The guy from Moog had one of them doing hi-hats, another doing a bass kick and the last one doing a synth li...

Re: Moog Mother-32
I drew the new Moog Mother 32 form memory while I was at Knobcon. The knob placement is wrong and the number of knobs is wrong, but I think it captures the feel of it at least.

Re: Eurorack from Moog on the way?
I got to see it in person at Knobcon last weekend. It was a little over a foot long. It will fit in a Eurorack format and power from it, but it also has it's own enclosure with wooden sides. I believe that Synthtopia link is correct as far as specs. I was excited that you could program the sequencer...

Re: 960 SEQUENCER SYNC?
I don't forsee any problem with 15v, the Q960 probably takes 10v or more to shift. I am glad to hear you are considering the STG time sequencer modules! I have (5) of his trigger sequencers, (2) shift managers, Divider and a custom Time Buffer (I just bought the PCB and made my own panel). If you ne...

Re: Vocoder ...
I bought a used Analog Labs X32 Vocoder a while back and it is all that I was hoping for and then some! Very few were made, but it is an EMS clone. It is a 2U rack unit and has 32 bands that can be used in stereo (every other band going left and right). It has a built in VCO and LFO for modulation a...

Re: 960 SEQUENCER SYNC?
You should be able to send a trigger out from your 909 and shift the Q960 with that (even better than just a clock since it is programmable to create negative space between notes). Any Q960 clone or actual should work with the Dotcom modules, but if you are referring to original Moog modular, you wo...

I can imagine how much fun you would have with a Matrix Mixer using all of those pedals!

Re: I Dream of Wires....
Interesting responses from watching this. I like all coasts and it did seem to focus more on the West coast, but it did go into a good amount of history and depth about East Coast as well. I even thought it left it a draw as far as which was better or first. I felt it wasn't picking sides, but conve...

Re: Syncing Midi Murf to Project BPM
Do you have any way to send a trigger/gate out to it? There is a tap/step input on the pedal, a normal patch cable into that jack will tap the tempo (you will think that is what you want, but it isn't). Get a Stereo "Y" splitter (a stereo male plug will go into the Murf Tap/Step and the le...

Re: what is this "CV" good for?
CV is great! In a more modular system (like the MoogerFoogers, Moog Modular, etc.) voltages are used to control parameters in various different sections with many different possible results. Think of CV like this. You only have 2 hands, so if you want to control more than 2 things at once, you need ...

Re: Question on modular forum content
I would bet that at least some of the owners of the new Moog modulars could benefit from discussions of all things modular even if that isn't just Moog brand. There is so much to learn and this is a great place to do that. The idea that you could expand what your system does by simply adding a modul...
