Re: Why did Moog abandon its paid Blackberry 10 Animoog user

One thing that might not be realized is how small of a team Moog Music is. According to Amos, who is a great chap, he was the only software coder for the Sub 37 editor, and it sounded like maybe the only software/firmware guy period. What I have noticed is that Moog Music can't do Everything All the...

Re: which moogerfooger would/did you double up on first?

I bought two 104ms and ideally I would like 2 of each. For now,
the voyager and foogers are in place of a full modular, but I can feel
they truly are the gateway drug.

Re: Confirmed - Sweetwater DOES have MF-104Ms for Sale

Just "preordered" a mf-104m from SW, it says they are expecting more.
Super excited! I have wanted one of these for a long time.

Re: MIDI control for the offset of the filter cutoff frequen

I am not 100% on this and also can't answer regarding midi as I haven't dove into full midi control of the voyager yet, but I am pretty sure that with the filter cutoff cv input jack, you can only add to or increase the cutoff setting which is summed with the filter cutoff knob setting. So, if you w...

Re: Shepard Tone on a Sub 37

I could be wrong but I think you would need a
Modular with several oscillators to make a Shepard tone with hardware.
One of the Wizards here maybe very well correct me on this. I am no veteran.

Re: What is missing from a Voyager XL?

I have an XL and I have thought about this some, But not too much because I can't afford to build A modular supplement yet, but here are some things I have Come up with, not in order: .com instrument interface Multiples, attenuators, vcadsr, cp3 mixer, high pass or multi mode filter(mod can matrix 1...

Re: Possible Voyager Issues

No, it's in the hi setting when I am doing this, what I am saying is that it is like a semi tone or two less range,
Vs. what is shown in that video from syntorial.
In the low setting it is obviously an LFO.

Possible Voyager Issues

Hey, Just wanted to run a few things by you all. There are two things I have noticed on my Voyager that don't seem right. 1. The functioning of the FM: I realize there is some variance in the functioning of analog instruments, but I watched this video below, and it is a tutorial on using FM on the v...

Re: Adding Sequencer to my Voyager

Hi Gang, Here's a better list of Sub 37 Knobs & Buttons that can remotely control a Voyager (at least based off their MIDI Charts; I'm not at either unit right now). The layout is: SUB 37 -> VOYAGER HERE ARE EXACT KNOB MATCHES: MOD WHEEL -> MOD WHEEL LFO 1 RATE -> LFO RATE GLIDE TIME -> GLIDE R...

Re: voyager XL plus sub37 equals what?

I have a Sub 37. I crave a Voyager XL. I envision that the two together could be a real powerhouse. Since you already have a Sub 37, I would at least consider a Voyager RME with both of the CV In and Out breakout boxes (VX-352 & VX-351), plus two CP-251s. Having both breakout boxes side-by-side...

Re: Anyone else have this issue with their Sub37?

I don't even own a Sub 37 and I have seen it happen. I was playing with one at Knobcon, and it locked up. The Moog employee nearby came over and said, "Oh, I think it locked up, you just have to turn it off and back on again." I hope they can fix the issue at some point. Was the Moog by i...

Re: MP201 V3

I would be interested to know that as well.
I just got my MP-201 and it has firmware 2.0
I didn't know there was a 2.1 released.
I can't seem to find it online.

Re: sequencing voyager with sub 37

It is done through connecting the midi(din) out of the sub 37 to the midi in of the Voyager. There may need to be some tweaking of the settings of the Sub 37 as it has different options for what it send out of it's midi port. I have not done this but I am very interested in it, and I know it has bee...
