Re: MP201 V3

Bump ! :D It's time now for MP-201 v3.0 ! Please .... It's time for an iPAD and desktop editor for the MP-201. I personally asked Amos about this two years ago, And he said it is possible, but he just doesn't have time. I said, why not let someone in the community do it? He said, that is probably u...

Re: Model D production ending

I am curious what Moog has in development/waiting in the wings I cannot believe they would continue their model lineup, without some sort of MINIMOOG in there... Do you think they can make something that 100% captures the sounds of the D, with the versatility ( and more ) of a Voyager successor? mo...

Re: Behringer Model D - $400

Obviously, I can't make a full assessment without a direct hands on and ears on comparison, but Based on the audio demos I have heard of the Behringer D, it sounds decent as its own thing, but it doesn't reach real model d quality in any way to my ears. I didn't expect it to, but Uli made the statem...

Re: Drive/ distortion pedal for Voyager á la multidrive

This is my official recommendation, since I have both a voyager and a sub37. THE best way to get that sound is using the Electro-harmonix Bass Big Muff Pi Deluxe pedal. Normally, the Muff circuitry would be WAY to muddy for getting that natural overdrive. But the bass deluxe version offers a few sp...

Re: Sub 37 vs Model D

So, I'm wrestling with whether or not to keep it. I can afford to keep it, but still, $3500 is a lot to spend on something this 'optional' (considering the capabilities I already have with the Sub37, etc). It will be cool to hear your comparisons and read your insight on both. Personally I returned...

Re: New Model D ?

I have a few questions about the New Model D, and it's differences from an original. 1. Because the new LFO control is where the jacks were for Glide and Sustain, have the jacks been removed? I assume those jacks were able to be used with a footswitch, so you could activate glide or sustain/decay fr...

Re: modulate pitch of individual oscillators?

In the mod buss controls you can send Lfo to OSC 2, without pot mapping.

Re: Phatty Polychain

My understanding is this: if you press once key, it will play one phatty, if you press that key again, it will cycle to a new phatty(but still just one), if you depress two keys, you will get two phattys, etc. It functions with each phatty as a polyphonic voice with round robin, if I am correct. Nev...

Re: NAMM 2016 NEW SYNTHS

The Matrixbrute has some interesting concepts, I particularly like the idea of all those euro-friendly CVs. However, after owning a Microbrute (which is fun and sounds pretty cool) I can't imagine the overall quality of the Matrix will be very impressive. Especially at that price point, something h...

Re: Mixer out with effects pedals

I have a brand new voyager xl. I am trying to hook it up to several effects pedals including a moogerfooger 104m-sd. I am going from mixer out to pedal in and from pedal out to my amplifier. With all pedals I am getting a constant noise as if a key was depressed. What am i doing wrong? And how else...

Re: NAMM 2016 NEW SYNTHS

I think the matrix brute looks amazing in concept. I love my voyager, but certainly the matrix brute looks awesome and CAN do things the voyager can not, or at least different. Ideally I would have my voyager combined with a 5u modular, and then get a matrix brute and combine it with a eurorack. In ...

Re: Voyager XL and Ribbon CV Out to VCA Pan inverted?

I don't believe the pan jack is adjusting the spacing control at all, if you are using both outputs it is reducing one output or the other and it seems to "pan" back and forth. Also, perhaps the op is playing in the home studio? Stereo is fun.
