Re: Sub37 Pitch Bend Wheel as Mod Source?
I’m still hopeful of a firmware update. I sent some bug reports to Amos a couple of months ago and got a reply to the effect that there would be one.

Re: Moog One TRANSFORM Requests
In addition to setting limits on the output of the modulation, it would be useful to limit/scale the modulation source. Using aftertouch as an example - what one might want to do is to ignore all aftertouch being sent from the keyboard up to a certain value, and then have it kick in from zero to 12...

Re: Moog One SOURCE Requests
I’ve managed to get this effect on my Subsequent by having the filter EG release time be shorter than the amp EG release time.drogoff wrote:

Re: A few problems with the Minimoog Model D
Not sure if the filter envelope to pitch is normal. I had a Behringer D and it had that problem (which is partly why I returned it. More irritating was the fact that a square wave LFO also didn’t return to zero on the “off” portion of the wave cycle). However the Moog Model D I tried in a music shop...

Are you using a USB hub? They can sometimes be problematic.

Could this be the USB ports going into a power-saving or sleep mode?

Re: Subsequent 37 panel mode bug within editor
I’ve made a further discovery related to the panel mode. I’ve found that if panel mode is engaged on the synth and one then holds down the “panel (init)” button, an init patch is loaded into the panel buffer (though the screen still displays “panel active”). In order to return to the actual panel mo...

Subsequent 37 panel mode bug within editor
This is a copy of the message I’ve sent Amos and Adam about this: I’ve just been playing around with the editor and noticed the following oddity: Engage panel mode on the synth and click on one of the presets in the “hardware presets” window of the PC editor. The correct hardware preset button is il...

Re: Subsequent 37 LFO LED bug
Just had a reply from Amos who explained that this is normal due to one LFO’s LED being controlled by CV whilst the other is done digitally.

Re: Another Subsequent inconsistency / bug
Just had a reply from Amos and he told me that this “delayed transpose” was recently added to the Sub Phatty and will be included in a future Subsequent 37 update!

Another Subsequent inconsistency / bug
Has anyone noticed that there’s a difference in behaviour of the octave up and down buttons depending on whether or not the “compare” button is lit? In normal mode, when a note is held and the octave up or down button is subsequently pressed, the pitch jumps octave immediately. By contrast, if the “...

Subsequent 37 LFO LED bug
Does anyone else see this behaviour? When setting both LFOs to the same speed and enabling key triggering on both, I’ve noticed that when using anything other than square wave LFO the LED brightnesses do not match. For instance when a ramp wave restarts, LED 1 goes completely blank (as it should) bu...

Re: Selling Sub Phatty & moving on
I did that, and i can tell you: don't get rid of the Sub Phatty just yet if you don't have to, because the way of working with the Sub Phatty is unique and really fast. The original poster is planning on replacing it with the Subsequent, which is equally easy to use. In fact, in many ways it’s easi...
