My New Mooger Fooger Cabinet!

Ever since I bought all of the Foogers back, I have been trying to come up with something better than just the rack for my MoogerFooger modular. For me the rack fails to allow access or even a decent view of the jacks which are half of the power in these. When I lay them flat (as you can see on the ...

Re: Filling in the Moogerhole

I love step in on the MuRF! Good advice above. Instead of a solid arpeggiation (the LFO provides) it is nice to program the steps and leave some negative space between hits or even only have a few randomized hits with longer envelopes. The MuRF is great and it's power is found through lots of experi...

Re: MF Knobs & Jacks on a PC Board or Point-to-Point?

I changed out the outer metal case of an MF-102 a while ago (somebody had painted it poorly). It had the pots soldered directly to the PCB.

Re: Help Choose my First Fooger

I would have said get the delay, but since budget doesn't allow for that... Go with the Ringmod. It is the most generally liked Mooger I think and it offers a smooth sounding VCO, a VC LFO and of course Ring Modulator. The RingMod effect is very cool and is something of an alien touchtone. The way t...

Re: MiniMoog Replacement Mod Wheels? Clear ones?

The pic above shows the matte (sanded finish). I sold out of my first small run, so I started on a bigger batch to make sure people who want these will get them. Here are a few pics I took while making the last run: http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c395/bryanjbenting/20150323_171829_zpsuouonb2l.jpg...

Re: MiniMoog Replacement Mod Wheels? Clear ones?

How about $15 per wheel or $30 for 2 (Shipped)? ***This is just the wheel (with threaded insert and locking screw) and will not include the 2 metal pins at the bottom.*** I will need a little time to make them, but I will make some extras. Just send me a PM with how many you want and I will get paym...

Re: MiniMoog Replacement Mod Wheels? Clear ones?

Here is a pic I took of the broken mod wheel (left) and the replacement one (right). The person who requested this, took the pins out of the old wheel and glued them into the new wheel. The only problem I remember is that I would have to guess on the indent (without one in front of me to measure). I...

Re: MiniMoog Replacement Mod Wheels? Clear ones?

I run a laser at my day job and have made a couple clear replacements for a friend who was refurbing a MiniMoog. I could make more. How much was Synthwood charging?

Re: moog modular forum

I am on Muff's and here (same handle even). I have a 99-space modular system of Mostly Moog Unit and some MOTM. Even though I didn't buy one of the new Moog modular systems, I am interested in a forum being created to discuss them.

Re: Tell us about your rig

Glad to help! I just spent my last money on some more pieces, so I will have to pass on your sweet Yamaha synthesizer. I finally found a Roland MSQ-600 (CV memory sequencer) and a Waldorf Pulse (I used to have one and stupidly traded it off for an Oberheim SEM). I need to be done buying things for a...

Re: MIDI preset box for MF-104SD

Cool project! Thanks for sharing. I can tell you put a lot of effort into making exactly what you needed and that is the best part. This got me thinking about how I can use Ableton Live as a way to manage presets and automation for my Foogers via MIDI. I have it all wired up (each Fooger on a separa...

Re: Tell us about your rig

I couldn't remember if I had posted to this thread, but I found that I in fact did post here before (page 29 from back in 2009). Since I have moved my studio twice (now in it's final location for a long while), I figured I will post a few pics here again. I use Ableton Live as my master clock, main ...
