Re: Weird LSB CCs and static-y pops when recording knob twea

Totally different behavior, RL. There are no pops or static when i run a single midi cable from the voyager's midi out to it's in. Just a really clean zipper effect. Now that I've heard the zipper effect, I noticed that, if I turn local control on while doing midi recording in ableton, i get the zip...

Yes, they are off, but, if I turn them on, I don't notice any difference in behavior, for better or worse. . .

Weird LSB CCs and static-y pops when recording knob tweaks.

Hi everyone, Thanks in advance to anyone reading this. Not the most stimulating subject. . . I called moog tech support, but they didn't really have an answer for me. . . I am doing some automation of knob tweaks in a midi clip in ableton with my voyager, and I am noticing some strange behavior of t...

Audio out as CV

Hi folks, I was just watching a video where a guy uses audio as a control voltage. In particular, he was using Volume Envelopes from an ableton clip which he was then sending to the CV ins of a slim phatty. Is there any danger of messing up your gear by doing this? I read somewhere that audio maxes ...

Re: CP-251 and the Fourway of Multiout.

Exactly, one of the mixer outs counts as one output that is a mixed signal from the various outputs you choose to combine, so you can put this one output in the first, ringed input jack of a mult row. Now, what's totally confusing to me is this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vakOok4cXvY&...

Re: MF 104m with Voyager XL modulating LFO Rate!

Thanks for the comments, guys! Glad you liked the track! I think i'm going to tighten it up a bit and make a duo for viola and guitar using this same idea (my wife's a violist), should sound pretty cool, i think. This thing is sooooo fun. I look forward to hearing what everyone gets into after their...

MF 104m with Voyager XL modulating LFO Rate!

Hi everybody, My 104m arrived in the mail yesterday, and I've been having lots of fun experimenting. This track is just a simple tune I improvised once I found this amazing sound. All the sound you here is solo guitar going through the mf 104m. I am using the reverse sawtooth LFO from my Voyager XL ...

Re: A new Moog delay

The pedal is really amazing. So many cool possibilities, and the sound is just great. I noticed on the box that 106m is no longer listed, as it has been since around the time the mf-108 came out. In another thread, someone sleuthed out a site where moog had registered a trademark for the name "...

This sounds great! Really musical use of all the instruments involved, and I love the way it fits with the film. If you don't mind my asking, how did you get the footage? Did you have to pay for it or did you download it for free from somewhere?

I've had really great results placing a POG2 in the feedback insert. Using the reverse sawtooth LFO with a fast rate sounds amazing with the upper octaves.
