Monster,
Tony's bank #4 is great. very much like something I would hear in the original tron movie. flow, felt more like a vignette... needs a sick drum beat... has the beginnings of the kind of music washed out would write.
here's to the next Brian Eno!

Re: Moog Fest 2014 - Unreleased Synthesizer Available
Nope. It's the Engineer's pass (or something like that.) You pay $1k and get to attend a synth building workshop and other special events. At the workshop you are presented with an unreleased Moog synth. It's very cryptic, and seeing as how I'm on the West Coast, I don't know what the deal is here. ...

Re: Confused by many products, which sounds ost like a Minio
Short story for those bored or waiting for their TV dinner to cook…. About 10 years I ago, Moog hired me to rep them at Namm. They nicely provided me a Vger beforehand to familiarize myself with it. As I explored it, everything worked and it was pleasant and all, but I had a very hard time making i...

Moog Fest 2014 - Unreleased Synthesizer Available
Hello fellow Moogers, Has Moogfest ever done this sort of thing before, where if you purchase the "Engineer's VIP" package you receive an unreleased Moog synth, among other features? If so, what kind of "unreleased" synths are we talking about here? I'm just wondering if it is wo...

Re: Sub and Slim Phatties - Would you consider buy both?
I never liked the Slim. Sold it after a few weeks. Very unstable tuning (considering how it was in my studio with a good AC) and took forever to warm up. It is the only Moog I have ever disliked... I thought it couldn't be possible to dislike a Moog! Never tried the Sub, but it's got to be...

Re: Moog Source, Price Check!
check the other thread that you posted in (the one I created regarding how to clean one). My two cents are there from when you asked during that discussion.
I hope that helps and happy hunting!

Hey guys, thank you all for your help. After reading your replies, I did the following: Cleaned and polished wood parts with Pledge. Cleaned keys, knobs and metal surfaces with Pledge Multi-Surface Cleaner (see more details here: http://www.pledge.com/en-US/Products/Pages/multi-surface-everyday-clea...

Re: The "Source" of my dreams... now, how do I clean it?
Dear Alien, Thanks for the suggestion and vid. I would certainly contact Kevin if the source needed service... I believe he's based not too far from where I am in Southern Cal. Anyway, the Source is really in great shape, I just need to remove some dirt and smudges, and would like to give the wood a...

The "Source" of my dreams... now, how do I clean it?
Hello all, Long time no see! I hope all of you are well. Yesterday I bought the synth I've been wanting for nearly 10 years... the Moog Source! It sounds great and the Ebay seller forgot to mention that along with the MIDI upgrade, it also has over 200 memories! Oh how wonderful! Anyway, I...

Re: Is Moog selling out in cheap engineering?
Hey alien, there's no need to be pedantic on a pointless forum while the guy who stated his opinion never asked for a spelling lesson. While you're excusing the work by a manufacturer that some have considered mediocre, and wish to elevate your skillful use of the English language, what excuse have ...

Re: FS: Moog Little Phatty Red Limited Edition For Sale
 Early adopters = beta testers. Not to mention important parts of a marketer's research. I made a big mistake when I bought one of the first Blofelds released by Waldorf. Man was it buggy... and remained buggy until I sold it after a couple of years. So far, the early bug reports appear to be m...

Re: FS: Moog Little Phatty Red Limited Edition For Sale
@stiiiiiiiiive LOL yes, Analog 4 it is. I thought I saw you on the Elektron forum! Man it was a very difficult decision... I liked having the arp on the Red and the extra voice in my three-voice analog setup. But, with the A4 that should be arriving at Novamusik today (barring worsening...
