Re: Stomp Box Pedals that Work With Synths (Digital, Analog)

excellent feedback. the first post has been updated. personally, I'm a huge fan of Strymon both because of their products and their corporate culture. They actually communicate with you on Instagram, as opposed to simply posting up a bunch of crap designed to generate likes and followers a...

Re: WNAMM2016: Korg Minilogue

Either put full size keys on the thing, or don't put anything at all on it. I trained my muscles on full size piano keys and it doesn't translate to minikeys. I will not pay extra $$$ for a controller that I can't use. Anything with minikeys belongs in Toys-R-Us. Yes and yes. Minikeys are a damned ...

Re: Stomp Box Pedals that Work With Synths (Digital, Analog)

@_DemonDan_

Would that be the standard Flashback, or Flashback Triple Delay? Also, do you have to attenuate the signal in any way / do you experience any nasty signal overload issues? Just wanted a little more info before I add it to the list on page 1 of this thread.

cheers

Re: Stomp Box Pedals that Work With Synths (Digital, Analog)

Yeah JohnLRice, I'm sure that if you posted some links that anyone who wanted to see/hear what you're talking about could listen to, that it would help.

I'll add your descriptions to the original post.

Cool - thanks bro.

(off topic) Kenneth, I love the Roosevelt quote in your signature. Very appropriate not just for forums like this, but an enlightened mentality altogether. Good show.

Re: Stomp Box Pedals that Work With Synths (Digital, Analog)

BTW, JohnLRice, could you expound a little bit on your experiences with these pedals? The Mobius description is good enough, but do you have maybe a sentence or two to add about the others?

cheers

If you want to Custom Paint your synth...

There is an excellent option available that doesn't require spray paint, disassembling the unit, etc. Now, if someone could please explain to me how to upload images (last time I tried it didn't work) onto a post, I would show you the results of my experiment. For now, this description will have to ...

Re: Stomp Box Pedals that Work With Synths (Digital, Analog)

thank you all for the extra references. they've been added to the original post.

the only ones not added are the moogerfoogers recently mentioned. they're included in the first entry of the original post.

@C7SUS: are you recommending, or warning against, the Foxrox TZF2?

Re: Stomp Box Pedals that Work With Synths (Digital, Analog)

see, the doubts I have about guitar pedals on synths relate to the absolutely awful sound I got from the EHX small clone when connected to my LP Tribute. You have to lower the volume a great deal, and then the chorus effect is very weak and distorted nonetheless. It was a very negative experience. B...
