Re: How useful is "audio in" on your synth?
+1 audio in is one of my favorite features of the sub37 i create feedback loops with mics & moogerfoogers+cp251 with channel faders down, then use a pre-fader aux send to feed the external sounds into the sub37, then dial up the amount of external audio needed in the mixer section sending the su...

Re: connecting to DAWs. Preamps? DI's?
imo adding gain is not needed - moog analog outputs are plenty hot enough for line level inputs, and some users have to pad down inputs to prevent clipping maybe amos will let us know what the max voltage out is on a sub37... now if you want further analog coloration, look at some tube mastering pro...

Laznikoff, have you always used the original power supply or 9v battery? unregulated power supplies may damage the BBD's or board

Re: Sub 37 through effect: volume loss
+1 fx on mixer aux send & returns, or use a spare channel for effects return then take advantage of built in feedback loops (sending the effect out to the input), eq, and insert points for additional processing (midi gate, compression, dynamic eq)

Re: sub37 output volume knob acting up
does the headphone out still work? what happens when you turn the sub37 on with the main volume out all the way up?
sub37 out is mono but even the sonic state videos use one of these to split http://www.zzounds.com/item--HOSYPR102? ... 7AodZjsA3g

Re: Disabling The Master "midi control" Volume
What kind of audio mixer do you have? Moog products generally have 'hot' outputs but you should be able to adjust the mixer gain for each input to get the level you need. Turn the gain down on the Voyager channel & turn up the gain on the micropiano. Gain is not the same as the fader level. If t...
