Re: Thread Topic

Hello, Thx. I've used a patch thats close to this however, the source for the one I've used was Roger Powell's patchbook for the Mk 1 ARP Odyssey. He used the keyboard gate to trigger the s&h to create smoothed cv variations. One of the his patches also used the kb gate triggered s&h to vary...

Hello, you did read Kevin's post in it's entirety, to contextualize mine, right?..... the part where he stated he has been unable to find any...

Hello, For live use, I've seen the Mini D (and other synths) set up with a 'home position' patch (or the sound most often used in the music set). The settings for that one patch was marked on the panel with grease pencil, or something similar, and all sounds used during the set were just variants, o...

Hello, You may want to check with the author of the video for patch specifics they may be inclined to share. In a general sense, the sounds you refer to in the clip seem to use audio-rate modulation of the filter cutoff frequency for the effect. The latter example sounds like a combination of audio ...

Hello, You don't have to save the two separately. Once you've created (or edited) a given patch, you pull up edit page 6.3, scroll cursor to, "Preset Name", and type in the desired name for the patch. Once you've completed this and push edit to exit out of the patch name screen, the name i...

Considering that video is 34 years old, I don't think it's one of the new Rhodes versions. :) Hello, I believe he's referring to the one in the promo clip for the coming tour. Thats a Mark V. They've been around for a bit, although there aren't a lot of them. Haven't heard anything more about the s...

Re: Audio Input distortion trick

... or should I just give up the stereo and go mono on my voyager?........ What do you think? Hello, I don't. I use the mixer feedback loop instead, and with regard to pedals, I find you can get crunch tones out of most synths that give you three or more primary sources with which to play, without ...

Chick Corea - No man ALIVE will ever touch this dude in regards to pitch wheel. Chick Corea is quite badass with the pitch bender, but for some of the most soulful pitch inflections done on a mono synth, George Duke gets my vote every time. 500 Miles to Go: http://youtube.com/watch?v=fYWIGxrdtDA St...
