I would like to power all 8 of my MFs from one small power source such as the Voodoo labs power pedals II. Would I be able to use all 8 of the VLPPII outputs seeing as how one of the MF pedals is a murf which i think might require two of the VLPPII channels to be combined to increase power. Does tha...

I remember a short while back people were talking about the little footswitch controller for the MFs. Here ia an optical beam that you can use to control MF parameters. Pardon if this has been posted before. I don't know If i can imbed this video so if it doesn't work, just follow the youtube link a...

6 foogers 2 CPs, here. I like having two for mixing and using two independent lfos. The sample and hold is cool, as is the static low pass filter(?) on the S+H input 3 (I think). Anyway, I like them very much. Now all i need is a 50 point patchbay and a shotlaod of cables. Then I can plug up all tho...

Anything sounds good!
No, really, the murf, the phaser, the LP filter, the ring mod, all sound killer. I even rasn another delay in the loop. Weird.
I tghink effects that change drastically over time sound the best, tho.

Designing the Uberfooger...lots of questions...

Hi (sory for the long post) Inspired by the foogerstation pic on here a while back, i have decided to put together all my MFs to create a minimoogermodular; which is probably gonna be called the Uberfooger! /Oberfooger It will consist of MFs 101, 102, 103, 104z, 105B, 107, 2 CP251s, and a custom wir...

Well, if you are looking for modular flexibility the CP would be good. You can find more detailed info in other threads here and at moog, but basically the CP doesn't process audio sounds (like the other foogers). It generates a variety control voltages to control aspects of other devices, the frequ...

Haven't used them both together, but I'll just venture out and say the Ring Mod sounds great with anything. The Taurus pedals sound great with anything. I don't see how you could go wrong with the combi. A CP251 wouldn't hurt either.

I called Moog, the people who would know, and they are just starting the production phase of the Freqboxes. They should start filling orders at the end of May.
yippee!

I already ordered mine from Robotspeak, San Francisco's one and only synth shop. Moog says they are not even in production yet, but orders should start being filled mid to late May. Yay!

Thanks Lengai,
Can you use the 351 with the MF series or is it just for the voyager. It seems to have some stuff that the 251 doesn't have.
Thanks,

Thanks for the tips everyone. I checked out the beringher at musicians friens. I thought I need to use a balance patchbay. Or is it that I just need to use balanced cords? Mixing on the cp251. Isn't that limited due to the number of ins and outs. I know there is the mixer, but it seems with 6mofos a...

Sequence of pedals...

I want to know if changing the sequence of a line of pedals has dramatic effects on how the MFs inteact. I have heard to put delays and time based pedals at the end of the chain. Right now my setup goes from the mixer send out to the 101 to the 102 to the 103 to 105B to the 104Z and back to the mixe...

All this talk about patchbays........

Ok, So can I get some recommendations for some PBs to use with my MFs. I don't really know much about patchbays other than they connect stuff with ins and outs. But then there are those PBs with switches for normalling, and balancing, etc. It sounds like I need a 1/4 TRS balanced patchbay. To use al...
