I've heard about this and wondered. What if I used a cable that was a right angle on one end (out from MFs) and straight on the other end(in to patchbay). Would this allow me to mount the foogers in a twelve space rack, or am I screwed no matter what I do? I really can't waste the spaces in my rack....

For my preferences, I would start with package 1 and add the murf later. Its a great pedal, but having the 101 first can make the MURF even better. Why did they have to pick an ugly ass conservative grey cable for the accessory ports? Why not black, or silver, or brown, or even white, but grey??? Ewwww.
