Re: Freqbox or RingMod for synthbass with electric bass?
Got to try the FreqBox today. It sure needs som serious taming! Had the suspicion that people who talk about it as a fuzz box didn´t know how to get the settings right for making hard synched oscillator scream synth lines, but now I know it´s not that easy. So I got quite doubtful whether thi...

Re: Anyone actually built a modular synth out of foogers?
Just realised that my MachineDrum can do triggered envelopes at the two inputs of it, and it has 8 separate outputs so I can just put the FreqBox output through it and: Voilá, let there be synth!

Re: Freqbox or RingMod for synthbass with electric bass?
What do you mean when you say the Ring Mod does the octave up / down sounds, can it be set to give precisely octaves? I was under the impression it changed pitch gradually and sweep.

Re: Anyone actually built a modular synth out of foogers?
.com is what caught my attention as well. Thought that I might be a little dumb to try and make a modular synth using stuff that COULD be used that way (foogers) but isn´t especially made for that purpose. Though buying the FreqBox wouldn´t mainly be to start making a modular synth, but to make my b...

Re: Anyone actually built a modular synth out of foogers?
I guess you can say that I have, and I'm a bass player as well. I think if you want to go the modular synth route, the CP251 is a handy tool, but the freqbox without a VCA doesn't really do the trick. Eric Yes, I understand that it needs a VCA to be useful. I was thinking the MP-201´s envelopes cou...

Anyone actually built a modular synth out of foogers?
I own a MF-101 an am quite certain I´ll get a FreqBox and CP-251 within months. These I´ll get because I like to play bass/guitar more than synth, but I like it when it sounds synth-like. But to justify the purchase of the latter two I´ve started to convince myself that this is a great start towards...

Can´t decide between CP-251 or MP-201. Please help!
I´m pretty sure I´ll buy a Freqbox to turn my electric bass into a synth bass. Already have an MF-101 and when buying the Freqbox I also want something to make the two ´foogers come alive. I like tweaking so that made me look at the CP-251, all those "hidden" possibilities when combining a...

Freqbox or RingMod for synthbass with electric bass?
I love it when my bass sound like a synth, and so far I´ve put it through a MachineDrum for som amplitude modulation or sample reduction. But that gives it more of a distorted sound than a synth-like sound. I own a MF-101, which I absolutely adore, and thought I´d add another Moogerfooger for this p...

Re: Possible trigging CP-251 S&H with audio?
Missed the "USING THE CP-251 WITH OTHER MOOGERFOOGER MODULES" - section after the explanation of Sample And Hold. There´s the answer, and I won´t need to trig the CP-251 with an external audio source cause it can be done with env out from the MF-101. Fantastic! Very tempted to get me a CP-...

Possible trigging CP-251 S&H with audio?
I use a MonoMachine paired with a MachineDrum and I play bass, guitar & MonoMachine synth through a MF-101. It sounds great but I would like to use sample and hold to control the cutoff for a more "electronic" feel. One way to do it is to get a midi/cv converter and assign an LFO from ...
