Re: Would anyone else love to see 'foogers in Eurorack forma
It's possible with the minifoogers, i guess. Likely? hard to say. I kind of hate euro-rack stuff. Or rather, I hate the people that are trying to cram euro-crack down my throat. I love modular, in concept. If I ever go modular, it will be 5u. That being said, there is no reason you can't convert you...

Re: Stuck note with Beatstep pro
Is there an issue of using the BSP which supplies 10v of CV, to the minitaur that only accepts 5v? I've read the BSP manual, and it hints that the 10v might JUST be for the drum gates, but isn't conclusive, and if that is the case it doesn't specify the SEQ1 and SEQ2 voltage at all.

Re: Vocoder ...
did you get the iron lung or the full on v256 (or whatever it's called). Assuming the V256, are you sending in a synth signal, or using the built in synth controlled via midi?

Re: First Moog
The Arturia Beatstep Pro would work. It sends gate, pitch cv and "velocity" cv for two separate channels at once. The "velocity" lane can be used for anything that you can modulate that is l as precise than pitch. Filter cutoff would be the most commonly used.

Re: Minitaur accessory?
Product development (in my head, of course) continues. I should have specified, I have a PAIR of minitaurs coming in the mail from sweetwater. This passive potentiometer box will hopefully have a switch to swap the outputs. To Minitaur #1 will be refiltering the audio from Minitaur #2, and vice vers...

Re: Micromoog - bad CV Tracking & missing CV Out
Problem number 1 might have something to do with one being volts vs hz, per octave.

I'm running ableton live, so that is taken care of.Stuka wrote:You could probably do it over USB, but you'll have to use a MIDI router on your PC (like MIDI-OX) to tell your computer to route the USB MIDI signals from the Sub to the Minitaurs.

Minitaur accessory?
During the sonic state review of the Minitaur, nick used this little attenuator box to adjust the feedback loop of the headphone output into the Audio in. One of these. http://amazingmachines.com.br/high_res_pages/news_nastymono_release_hi.html I'm thinking of building one that has the proper tip co...

Polychaining over USB midi?
I didn't post this in the Phatty or Minitaur sections, because it's more general of a question. I understand the setup of polychaining from a menu standpoint, but it's the physical connections that I need clarification. I have a Sub37 as my master (poly 1) and want to add a pair of minitaurs. Can I ...

Re: Custom effects
I didn't modify th circuits in anyway, other than to extend the wires for the power connector and the input and output jacks, to move them to a more usable position. My next project will be to build kind of a Pandora's box. Stick 5 or 6 of those nano-sized guitar stomp boxes in one big enclosure, wi...

Did anyone else feel like they only included Gary Numan in the film because they used his song title for the name? To the best of my knowledge, none of the signature Numan sounds were modular.

Re: What will Moog do next?
A rack-based sub37 would be ideal. And if Amos can work his sorcery to make two sub37's polychain in duo mode, that would be amazing. And if the high-low key oscillator priority was split between the two... Madness. For me, Moog is like Apple computers. I try not to speculate what's coming next, bec...

Re: I Dream of Wires....
I think it was pretty anti-east coast in general, not just moog. All the comments about using a keyboard to control a synth means you lack creativity. "I didn't want a black and white keyboard, because that meant I was going to make regular music."
Nonsense.
Nonsense.
