Re: a new polyphonic Moog
No offense to the original poster, but does anyone else get really annoyed with threads like these? It seems there's a new one every week or so. It seems kind of strange/arrogant/naive that someone would start a thread based on what I can only assume is zero synth building experience, just to tell M...

Re: First Moog
Thanks, a quick question, I have an MXR carbon copy delay, nice guitar bucket brigade delay I wonder if I can safely use the miniature through it without damaging the Carbon Copy? I have the input specs for the Cabon Copy, Input Impedance 1M Output Impedance 1K, max input level +5Dbv at 500 hz., bu...

Re: SUB 37 MIDI CC OUT to ABLETON ENVELOPES
do you have "track" and "remote" active in the midi preferences, for ins and outs of the sub 37 in the ableton preferences?

Are you making the kits velocity sensitive through multiple samples? I am. It's taking a long time but it's sounds amazing.namahshaman wrote:Thanks, jsharpphoto.
I have at least five different kits that I've made using just the Voyager. Incredible drum sounds if you have the patience to invoke them, haha.

Re: Slave a Slim Phatty to a Sub 37?
You should be able to. All of the parameters should share the same midi CC info, so the filter knob on the sub will control the filter on the slim. At least, that's how my sub controls my Minitaur.

Re: Custom effects
Beautiful panel work JS. What were your plans for the MS20 's? I have a couple, and a ARP Odyssey to toss in the mix. I'm looking for some inspiration how to tie them into my Moog-complex. I got rid of the MS-20m. It was cool, but I didn't love it (after the honeymoon wore off). I couldn't get use ...

Re: Minitaur & a control surface
I hadn't thought of that, the sl mk2 has some pads I find useless no more then a thin piece of rubber stretched over a sensor but they would work just fine for this! Thanks If it were me, I would designate 3 or 4 of them to your favorite LFO sync subdivisions. 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, and "sync". T...

Sounds great! Everyone always talks about 808s and other lame-o drum machines. My favorite drum sounds all come from my moog.

Re: Custom effects
Got it all wired up tonight. Holy crap soldering the mults is tedious. I'd show you the inside, but I would hate for it to come up on a google image search for "moog wiring". This thing looks like (what I imagine) the inside of a swarmatron looks like. But everything works perfectly. By my...

Re: Custom effects
Very Cool! The bad grammar reminds me of Metasonix or something . . . maybe you should start designing pedals. The grammar joke is straight from Moog. Every Minitaur shipped with a bumper sticker that said "All your bass are belong to us" which is a genius play oh the internet joke "...

Re: Custom effects
Today I decided to build this. Started out as flat 16gauge steel, and a vector file I built over lunch. image.jpg Then, bent it in my metal brake, and put the graphics on it. image.jpg Now an evening of soldering... I'll make the wooden cheeks this weekend. This unit, when stacked on top of the Cp-2...

Re: Sub 37 Cookbook?
I would definitely participate.
Just a note, vintage minimoogs didn't have "presets". Maybe what you mean is new presets of famous minimoog songs. I'm still working on my "just what I needed" patch.
