One of its features is the ability to send real-time MIDI pitch-bend data in order to get various scales out of any MIDI keyboard. I haven't used it for that, but people say it works.

I would guess that doing various non-12 equal temperments (like quarter-tone which is 24-TET) would be fairly straightforward since you're still dealing with equal logarithmic increments. I'm thinking of getting a Future Retro Orb to use with my Little Phatty and Moogerfoogers. So the question -- does the Orb's MIDI-CV function work well with Moogerfoogers? What I'm thinking of is using the LP MIDI out and converting it to CV with the Orb to control things like the Freqbox frequency ...

Also a side note (might be important in some contexts). In the guitar world it's common to hear people say PTP when they really mean "connected up on a board but with wires rather than printed traces." Strictly speaking, PTP means there is no circuit board at all.
