Re: Minitaur USB dropout

The firmware update seems to have fixed the USB drop out proble for me, but keep in mind I have only tested it using phaedra on my IPad running to the Minitaur via camera connection kit. :D

Peace! Where did I assume anything about your experience? I said I didn't know how experienced you were, I didn't say you wre less or more experienced than I or anyone else inthis forum. I have aknowledged your honesty, I made no slight against your musicianship, knowledge of the subject at hand or ...

Re: Any Minimoog owners that also really like the Little Pha

Artpunk, It is possible to look at particular things and tell how functional they are. You might not get a complete idea, but its enough of a starting point from a buyers perspective. If you see a lack of pots, switches and jacks, that speaks for itself. Moog isn't going to make something that soun...

Re: Any Minimoog owners that also really like the Little Pha

Re: I specifically decried the Little Phatty... until I was fortunate enough to play with one I fail to understand how anyone can denigrate anything without having first hand experience... :?: Well, let me help you. The Phatty is a economical synth which lacks a knob-per-function interface and look...

Re: Plugging Voyager into Audio Interface

The benefit of using both the L & R outputs of the Voyager become evident once you listen to many of the patches the Voyager has (or start tweaking parameters yourself) in stereo. There are some wonderful sonic panning effects that can be achieved with the Voyager! :D Edit: if you only use the m...

Re: Any Minimoog owners that also really like the Little Pha

I have a Voyager, a Mono/Poly & now a Minitaur and they are all wonderful in their own right for what they do. I would love to have a little/slim phatty too, but my budget & wife's tolerance can only be stretched so far! These threads remind me of the which camera equipment? threads in other...

Re: Why did moog pull the pin on the delay?

I don't think the BBD chip supply was the only reason why it was DC. So many people have had issues with the pedal messing up. They came up with a "permanent fix" for it. Mine is said to have had said fix and it still messes up. I think the permanent fix was to dc it. @ErikK - could you p...

Re: Plugging Voyager into Audio Interface

According to the manual the L & R audio output jacks on all Voyager keyboards are 1/4" unbalanced TS jacks. On the RME they are TRS apparently. I have plugged them directly into my active monitors in the past but they usually run directly into my instrument level inputs on my mixer. Persona...

Re: Minitaur cutoff frequency does not track at 100 percent

David, the filter keyboard tracking is controllable via midi CC #20 - the default is approximately 50% according to the manual, but it can go from 0 - 200% Also, I haven't actually used the Minitaur's software editor yet, but I believe all the other 'hidden' parameters are accessible from there. :D

Re: NIN 'Closer' synth bass on KT

@joachim_s - You could always use the patch sheet (in the old school folder) and dial in the values as shown there on your VST. Hopefully it might translate to a close approximation of the sound intended?

Re: Minitaur USB dropout

I'm getting dropout from the iPad phaedra app sequencing the minitaur, it will run fine for a while then (seemingly randomly) drop connection. Sometimes it seems to happen when I do a bit of knob tweaking, sometimes it just happens... :?: Will contact support as Amos suggested above (@ausgeno, I sug...
