Re: The New Emerson Moog Modular System Is Real

The work to make faithful module replicas to assemble a short production run but then throw it all away is crazy. Nothing but more good can come out of the Emerson modular. B well no, not surely....

Re: EP-2 for Korg
Just to clear up some misinformation on the interwebs. The Korg EXP-2 pedal has a 90K linear pot, it is not log. And almost any linear pot value will work for a Moog or Korg because its just a voltage divider. Its not reading resistance, its reading the ratio between the top and bottom of the pot. Y...

Re: Any Octatrack users?
Sometimes you want a sound to be identical each and every time. A kick drum just lacks impact if the attack varies. There's the myth that analog is great because of subtle random changes. I say its great because its fluid and can be made more expressive because there so much to alter in real time. R...

1992! Sad to think its still completely relevant.
You could always give the gift of a synth, but the Functional Speech Disorder crowd are campaigning that the word unfairly disadvantages them.

Re: VX-351
The lack of replies and the vagueness of the only one is very telling. I'd like to know specifically what useful patching you can do with a VX-351 you can't do with the mod bus options or pot mapping. My VX is used to drive other analog gear from the keyboard output and that's it. If you plug stuff ...

Can I stop Voyager sending the knobs CC's?
I want to use the knobs only for the Voyager while the keyboard drives another synth.
Can I stop the Voyager sending any controllers from the front panel knobs?

So many LFOs, so little to control them with. Sysex mapping to control wave, freq, level individually would be great!

What are these things?
I'm not sure what these Foogers are supposed to be. Are Moog grabbing the stomp box market hoping people will upgrade to the big Foogers? Will these Mini Foogers steal market share from the big Foogers and come back to bite Moog? Disclaimer, I've never been that sold on the Mooger Fooger concept. It...

Re: Free gift from Moog?
Yes, I can't see Moog posting an odd shaped heavy item internationally. Stickers arrived, not sure about a knob.
