Yep I have both too.. both rackmounts. I'm a happy bunny, and they really do compliement each other well. The Prophet 08 is capable of some really 'plastic' sounding things that are fantastic.. oh and it sounds great through the moog filter ;) I'm interested in sending CV from my newly arrived VX351...

Ok, that's good to hear.. So I've found all the VX351 output voltages in the Voyager manual.. but the VX352 manual isn't online, are the ranges of voltages it accepts online anywhere? Are they identical to the CV inputs on the Voyager Keyboard?

I have to say, I think it is sort of funny how guitarists really get a chubby in their pants when they find a pedal or guitar that makes their notes sustain for a really long time.....i mean whatever gets you off..... but honestly are people really impressed when you are playing a show and just jus...

I think the real question is why Dave Smith Instruments charge $30 less for exactly the same bit of editing software... for a synth with more parameters.....!

Eurorack Modular + Moog Voyager

Is anyone on here interfacing a Eurorack modular (Doepfer, Analogue Sys, Solutions, Livewire, Plan B etc. etc.) with a Moog Voyager with VX351 + VX352?

I'd be interested to know about issues with voltage and gate formats.. stuff I've never really delved into much.

Voyager manual pdf?

I'm sorry if this is a dumb question...

...but I can't find the Voyager RME manual anywhere on the website.
My copy is missing a couple of pages.

Thanks

Hi SD...

Ahh I had no idea the 352 attenuators could do that, in fact I had been unreliably informed they couldn't!
Detailed information and close up photos of that unit are not easy to find online.

Well there we go then, pointless thread with a positive ending :)

Yeah a fair point LDT. Don't really want a battery or another power cable hanging off an inverter cable eh :)

I don't really have the space for the CP251 so I guess I'll try and find a kit to make an inverter.

Hi, yeah I do mean a inverter for negative voltages, rather than attenuators (4 of which on the 351+352 should be enough for most things I reckon) So I can have an LFO 180deg out of phase or a negative envelope etc. Something I do a lot with other synths. I am indeed intending for this to become par...

Inverter 'cable' for 351+352 ?

I'm planning to buy the 351 and 352 to powerup my Moog RME with some semi-modular patching. The one thing which is conspicuous by it's absence is an inverter. I know the CP251 has this but I don't reckon I need 90% of the functionality of that unit. So has anyone ever seen or know a good DIY design ...

Mapping an env to pitch?

Hi all, this is my first post. I recently acquired an RME v2.6 I expected to find that 'Filter Env' and 'Volume Env' were available as modulation sources in the pot mapping menu... i.e so that I could map the filter env to osc pitch, for that classic zappy bassdrum sound. How can I go about doing th...
