Perspiration Or petroleum products can degrade rubber. Sunlight too.

Re: Polychain question driving 2 slim phatties

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but don't the knobs on a Little Phatty control all the Slim Phatties' parameters in the chain?

Re: Moog Prodigy - upper register keys no response, any help

That price sounds high. The key contacts are in sections, the upper section may have come loose. Or it could be more serious. Good luck.

Re: Little Phatty tone creation help

Some people use the "Calibration" patch as an initial starting point.

Here are some articles from Sound On Sound that may help:

Start with the article at the BOTTOM of the list (May, 1999). Good luck.

Re: Defective Little Phatty II

In the manual, you'll find a procedure for calibrating the oscillators and other components. Maybe worth a try.

Re: Decision support: is the Voyager a reliable synthesizer?

Already got an email and RMA from Andy at Moog. Relieved and hopeful. Thinking about sending just the PCB, not the whole unit. Any thoughts? Ahh, Moog. :D

Re: Decision support: is the Voyager a reliable synthesizer?

2013, I think. The serial number is within the range set out in this thread. All oscillators have stopped generating sound. Filter sounds can still be produced.

Re: Decision support: is the Voyager a reliable synthesizer?

My little-used Select Series stopped making oscillator sounds last week. Hope Moog is still fixing these.

Re: Possible to run Werkstatt from batteries?

I've purchased 2600 ma AA batteries for Radio Control cars. Tower Hobbies, among other suppliers, carry RC batteries that may work for you. You'll need a special charger, though.

Re: Delay Pairing advice

I like the TC Nova Delay very much--digital stereo but warm tone and versatile. I also like the EHX Deluxe Memory Boy--analog mono with CV pedal control. I use them between the synth and the mixer, not in the synth's internal loop.
