Taurus III (No Longer Available)
Taurus III (No Longer Available) sweetwater have the news here and they no longer selling them Just a heads up Ebay prices will climb on this model very quickly because Moog are making no more--my guess Moog still have them as available on their site because of remaining stock Watch the Taurus 1 go ...

Re: Step Sequencer?
Hi just bought a Taurus 3 today --the Minitaur gave me a taste to want the T3 as well--has there been any advancement on the Step Sequencer since this note from Amos Taurus: if Note Latch and Arpeggiator Latch are both turned on while the arp is running, it acts like a step sequencer. Plays all note...

Re: Minitaur blew fuse Urei 813 Monitor bug3
Have you ever heard of a lawsuit ?
Well one kids going to blow a eardrum using the Minituar
and I can see Moog having to recall the product
Its too powerful for the price range and I think it will do damage in the wrong hands
My two cents

Re: Minitaur blew fuse Urei 813 Monitor bug3
well lucky they have a fuse --similar to a bulb I think its a bug because the Voyager never blew a fuse and I use it often, they need to limit the low end just a little so its safe to use I would hate to run it through a decent PA unless are some kid into techno or dub step :) that gets off on bass ...

Minitaur blew fuse Urei 813 Monitor bug3
bug 3 http://mixonline.com/TECnology-Hall-of-Fame/UREI-813-monitors-090106/ Blew the fuse on the right hand 813 monitor while playing with the EG amount knob I have a low serial #141 Maybe a circuit mod is needed for next batch to tame the Minituar down a bit!! I also have a Voyager Performer and ha...

Minitaur Midi bugs x 2
Bug 1 Minitaur has same bug as MF-108M when syncing to midi clock for LFO sync Here is workaround from tech support We suggest unplugging the MIDI connections all together with your MIDI clock device off, power up the MF-108 M, hook up the MIDI and then power your MIDI clock device. We seem to have ...

Re: Minitaur vs Monotribe
best to get both ---street price of a new monotribe is $175 and say another $45 for the midi mod kit
this clip i found sums up the essense of the monotribe --its that good --but takes time to learn the instrument

Minitaur vs Monotribe
I have minituar and monotribe and to be honest Monotribe is just as good as Moog in different ways The Monotribe bass is really spectacular --I mean it beats a lot of vintage synths in the bass dept and the high end is great you need to get this kit for the monotribe $45 http://www.ebay.com/itm/1507...

Re: Mintaur vs Taurus 3 for sequencing only ???
Im going to get the Taurus 3 as well --I just can't see how they could reduce the size of the components on the Minitaur and not compromise on the sound see review here http://www.sonicstate.com/news/2012/03/16/sonic-lab-moog-minituar-review/ I am told by those who know, that because internally the ...

Re: Thoughts on the official Minitaur Editor
I said this idea to Perry Moog Tech Support may I suggest one more window a step sequencer window with a virtual keyboard to enter notes that is syncable to midi clock or can be used as a plugin with your DAW I would be inclined to make it like a TB -303 style step sequencer or even like the old Moo...

Mintaur vs Taurus 3 for sequencing only ???
I just bought a Mintaur -its still shipping and have a chance to get a Taurus 3 cheap $1300 Any point in getting the Taurus 3 if you would never use the pedals --or is the Taurus 3 got a better sound My requirement is a bass synth for sequencing only I have a Voyager Performer but find it not so goo...

MF-102 tremolo vs MF-108M tremolo
To my ears the Moog MF-102 tremolo effect is better and can handle more signal input then the MF-108M tremolo settings
Anyone prefer the 108 tremolo sound?
is there any way I can sync the MF-102 by sending it a gate input from a drum machine
thanks in advance

2 x Moog MF-103s in Stereo --good idea?
I really wanted a Roland PH-930 Stereo Analog Phaser but used prices are $2000 plus if you can find one Maybe two MF-103s would be a good workaround if the two can be synced for a true stereo -phase locked signal in and out The audio quality is good enough I feel to run an entire stereo sub mix thro...

Re: CHEAP, Vintage Moog MKPH 12-Stage Phaser Rackmount
After reading this I decide to buy a second MF-103
Would two MF-103s be a better buy so you got run the pair as true stereo?
