Re: Delay Unit Recommendations

JRRShop has the Akai Headrush E2 on sale for $89 (if you have a JRRShop account - easy enough to create). A steal at that price.

Re: big reverb for drones??

JRRShop is selling the Eventide Space for $389. But you have to create an account, click "Blowout", then login to your account to see that price.

Re: My Voyager has no problem.

Spent this past weekend going through all 800+ factory presets on my Moog Voyager Performer and writing down presets to use for certain purposes, or at least as starting points for tweaking to achieve certain purposes (drone, bass, noise, pads, riffs that might inspire a tune, bells and weird piano ...

Any updates on your Voyager?

I bought mine used, then sent it to Moog Music for hardware upgrades (increased preset memory, aftertouch upgrade). No problems on mine.

Re: Any Octatrack users?

One of my Octatrack goals is to use it to sequence my Moog Voyager. I have no intention of using it in the way Mssr. Alien thinks about samplers, the idea of playing samples of flutes, violins, etc. in the way somebody uses a ROMpler. I like to use it to mangle the bleep out of a recorded sample, or...

Re: Any Octatrack users?

Months/years of depth to explore is an exciting aspect to me but it doesn't mean it takes months/years to get good use of. Yes, that was what I was trying to communicate, but you stated it better than I did. Just tried sequencing slices in odd-meter time myself, this past weekend. Next is to learn ...

None taken, and I meant no offense to those who prefer "traditional Moog" tones. I love them myself, just not for all situations.

Re: tone advice

i love moog tones, but so often i hear the same old sounds coming from people's moogs. I keep hearing the same bass tones and prog sounding leads over and over again, and I want to flex my voyager's muscle and get more minimal tones that aren't often associated with the moog brand. These aren't exa...

I was intrigued enough to consider buying this pack, but I'll wait until the missing timbres issue is fixed.

I'm sure they'll get to it, eventually...

Re: looking for a Psionic Soundworks Walking Stick

Late to the thread... but yes, I do indeed have plans for another Walking Stick, and as of late last month I am actively working on the first batch. Nailing down dates is always tough for me due to other commitments, and the fact that I build and distribute them in small batches by hand, by myself ...

Re: SO so so dissapointed! Now 2 dead OSCs on VOS

I don't know of many synths companies that would have the head of the service department come onto a forum to offer to fix an issue to a particular customer ! Certainly not huge companies like Roland, Korg, or Yamaha. Although they might have a good track record for customer support also, but not t...
