Re: Memorymoog suddenly is corrupted (?)

Well, the glide issue is now showing on all of the patches that were corrupted, and most now show the "0 VOICES." However, the tuning patch that I saved is not showing those issues. If I reload the patches, should I expect it to be fine? So far, the tuning patch is still intact. I'm a litt...

Re: Memorymoog suddenly is corrupted (?)

Yeah, I thought that the glide issue would be hard to understand, but it really is that weird. Basically, if I turn the knob, it will switch between a few different values. And if I don't, it stays. As far as doing the thing with the RAMS and replacing the battery, I'm really hesitant about opening ...

Memorymoog suddenly is corrupted (?)

The (?) is because I don't know if that's the right term. Well, the Memorymoog has been off for a few days, because I was busy with doing something with guitar. It was working pretty good. Well, today I turned it on. First, nothing came out. I turned the program volume knob, and suddenly it had this...

Isn't deoxit bad for synths?

Re: Minimoog Model D

On EBay, a stock Minimoog usually goes for around $2000 - $3000 USD in good condition. It would probably be a good idea if you plugged it in and tested it out. Since yours has a MIDI mod, it can either add or take away from the value, depending on how you look at it (like I wouldn't add value, since...

Re: Memorymoog Plus Triggers Low C when switching to Poly

So no one's got any ideas about this? Can someone please try and see if they can reproduce this?

Basically, just set up a patch with a lot of release. Then go into mono mode, and hold down a note and press mono again to switch to poly while holding the note, and see if Low C triggers.

Re: Memorymoog Plus Triggers Low C when switching to Poly

Hey Bryan, thanks for replying.

When I had the Memorymoog serviced, it didn't trigger. It started doing so recently. So, to answer your question, no it hasn't always done this.

Re: Memorymoog Plus Triggers Low C when switching to Poly

Bump.

It happens for every voice, and every keyboard mode. I can't find anything in the service manual.

Memorymoog Plus Triggers Low C when switching to Poly

For some reason, my Memorymoog Plus is triggering the Low C when I switch to Poly from Mono while holding a note on they keyboard. Any ideas on why this is happening?

Re: Memorymoog Plus Backups to PC

The stereo adapter did it. It recorded the backups for both the programs and the sequences, and the Memorymoog verified them. So, I guess it's resolved. :D

Thanks to everyone that replied.

Re: Memorymoog Plus Backups to PC

My fear is that, like Rudi said, the issue is with the sound card. I'll try the TRS adapter and see how that goes.

Re: Memorymoog Plus Backups to PC

There is sound when I plug it into my amp, so the cassette interface is working. What I mean is that the computer isn't picking up the sound, on both the line in and mic in. Should it be working on one of those? 1/4" to 1/8" mono adapter, right?

Re: Memorymoog Plus Backups to PC

Thanks for the reply -

That is the sound I get. (The static stopped when I hit C1. )

Anyways, how do you connect it? The mic in and line in do nothing for me.

Memorymoog Plus Backups to PC

I'm wondering how to backup my patches via the cassette interface to my PC. I tried using a 1/4" to 1/8" adapter to the microphone in on my PC, but it didn't work. I also tried using the Line In, but nothing happened (nothing was recorded in the DAW, and no sound was detected by the meter ...
