Well, here we go, guys ! The work is done, the high grade new PSU from my tech is put in and is working PHANTASTIC !!! As assumed, it was a more FU**ing job as expected but now I`m the happiest man on the planet. The mostly nasty thing was to remove, first, the tranny, because the screws it had been...

Re: moog rogue: oscillators cant be heard at output
I asked my tech cause he helped me several times on my T2 unit but he said there can be a lot of reasons for the not working of the oscillators.
But what about the noise function if you raise the slider fully up to the top ? Does this work ?

Re: Minimoog Fools.......or ......Voodoo...?
Well, as I assumed my tech said the believe that the blow of the OP amps had been caused by the deoxite all belongs into the land of dreams, He`s working now with "all around the clock" for years and never had a short. All what can happen are leakage currents........nothing more..... The O...

Re: Minimoog Fools.......or ......Voodoo...?
I have no opinion about the neon light other than if it were me, given it's age I'd replace it. But I do not like deoxit. I used it during Memorymoog repair because of all the talk about connector oxidation, etc and that Deoxit stuff is flat out conductive. I let it dry beyond their recommended tim...

Re: New Poly in Preparation
The Memorymoog is fixed, 6 voices tuning, all sounding. Three blown 3080's, one blown 4558 and one blown 4066. A single blown resistor in the N1 beckman array, fixed by cutting associated pins and installing an 0.1% 100K on top of the array in thermal contact. Megavoice's tech in Germany figured th...

Re: ROGUE/T2....BOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMM
O.K. thank you again, MC, for being awake. From the technical side everything`s right more than ever. But, it was only ME who did the mistake: After digging out my paper archieves and writing down quickly the mod work on a sheet of paper the number "9" became to a "5". So ...

Re: Minimoog Fools.......or ......Voodoo...?
Hmm, very interesting....
So it Looks like that I have a "later" original with the Fresnel lense and smaller sized.
The two new are obviously the same like yours.
The Ser. Nr. of my Mini is just below 13000......and I`m the very first owner.......nothing had been modded ever.....

Re: Minimoog Fools.......or ......Voodoo...?
Well, the to Pilot Lights arrived and I`m slightly disappointed as they`re not completely original. Now please don`t call me a nitpicker but I want to have my old stuff as original as possible as they are in "Collectors Condition". The two new I`ve got are about 1 1/2 - 2 mm higher and don...

Re: ROGUE/T2....BOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMM
2. R 145, the original value is 100 kOhm. Shouldn't that be R149? Number one, the values are WAY off, and number two if you make the changes to R145 you could blow the CA3080 (U16) The change to R149 makes more sense since that is altering the RC product of the audio output driver, hence the freque...
