Sorry, that's not right. The Voyager does not change anything after power off/on. You do not have to select real parameters when you do not hit the ENTER button or select a preset.wavecollector wrote:I pretty much have to select "real panel params" every time I use the thing.

Re: My VoyagerXL isn't SENDING midi
Hi,
when LOCAL is off you would get a message after power on.
I guess it's a problem of the MIDI out hardware. On the regular Voyager there are buffers for the MIDI in/out on the
jack board but I'm not sure where these buffers are on the XL.
But it must be a hardware issue.

Hi steevio,
I'm stupid... the newest version got this function already in the PANEL function "Quick Mode" page 1.1
You will find the link for the newest software version in the middle of the thread:

Re: Older Firmware for RME
Hi steevio,
I didn't find a switchable version of the ext. input function in my records.
In the new 3.6 version it's possible to start and to stay in the boot system.
In the boot system there's no ext. input function.
Maybe I will change that in a future version...

Re: Voyager Sys Ex Data Format Changed?
MC, you're right:
the first example is a preset dump and the second one is a panel dump.
You can see that on byte 4: 2=panel dump and 3=single preset dump

Hi Kysh,
can you send the sysex file to "rudi at moogmusic dot de"?
I will do a check - maybe the SysEx ID is different...

Hi Kysh,
you do not need this function cause you can switch on/off SysEx in the MIDI Enables function.

Re: Voyager OS 3.6 Touch Surface Strangeness
Hi Markyboard, I made a change in the programmable CURSOR function. Now there's an additional function called "T.S. MIDI CTRL" (no. 18). The CURSOR toggles the touch surface MIDI controller on/off when the PANEL display is active. It would be nice if you could check it. Here's the download...

Re: Voyager OS 3.6 Touch Surface Strangeness
Hi Markyboard,
yes, you are right.
The touch surface of the Voyager works like the pots and not everything is possible with it.
It's also not possible to avoid this MIDI conflict when you are using pot mapping and local is off.

Re: Does Moog Voyager XL support piano type sustain pedal
Hi, yes the Voyager supports the MIDI controller for sustain. First you should download the latest version. With this version you can use a pedal connected in the ENV gate jack. The function for the ext. gate input is in the MASTER menu page 2.4. Take a look here in the middle of the thread: http://...
