Re: MIDI input weirdness on Mother 32
: : BUT, after unplugging it from the Mother 32 I realized the problem might be something different. The Mother 32 had "forgotten" all the sequences I had saved previously, and seemed to have reset itself. Felt like the Mother 32 had freaked out. Anyone else seen this behavior? Su...

Re: Mother 32 and Minitaur Pitch problem
Just watching this thread, because I don't own a Minitaur yet. But there is more than the +/- CV difference: Maybe you get also other user solutions for your problem by this older thread dealing exactly with the different internal Minitaur pitch representation (V/Hz instead of todays eurorack standa...

Re: How to get a specific sound?
I hear only one voice, with a very fast tempo, which goes through an envelope (or manual sweep) of the filter with resonance turned up to self resonate.
If I actually had the time to copy that on my GM, I would sequence with one OSC.

Re: Pitch In Bug?
You are not specific enough regarding the device you are asking for. Supposed it is a Grandmother or Matriarch, the PITCH IN voltage adds up with the OSC voltage. It doesn't nullify the OSC. I suppose what you are looking for is in the MIXER section. Putting a connection into OSC x IN cuts the audio...

Re: HELP! Grandmother MIDI not functioning. Unable to update the device.
...and most responses say to unplug and replug the cable, close chrome, turn of midi access in chrome, restart the computer and numerous other solutions. I have tried every single recommendation offered and have yet to fix the problem. I have been troubleshooting this for WEEKS now with no avail sc...

Re: Can't get support from Moog
Moog Music is far from one of the biggest companies in the field. It's a very small company owned by the workers. And with the current situation, they're probably very restricted in how they do business. They are dedicated people, passionate about what they do. So I don't blame them for not respond...

(SOLVED) GM: What is "the internal pitch CV"?
Thank you for your hint; the thread question is solved. As I understood the problem is not on the KSP side but rather to put the GM ready on a base note to react correctly on incoming CV pitch signals. I enter the reference base in the KSP CV configuration to F2 and hit the F2 (far left white key) o...

Re: GM: What is "the internal pitch CV"?
The internal pitch CV is the CV generated from a key press. You'll want to make sure that the last note played on the keyboard is a C in order to get it to play the same note. It is a cool way to modulate the pitch center of your sequences, as you can press another key on the GM, just like how the ...

GM: What is "the internal pitch CV"?
I tested several days (including reset to factory settings of both devices), but I'm not able to find the root cause of the following issue. Setup with MIDI works: Arturia KeyStep Pro MIDI out Ch1 > MIDI in Ch1 Moog Grandmother Sequencer on KSP with A note root works as it should to the GM. Setup wi...

Re: Moog Grandmother - knob resistance
I would emphasize that I like the ENVELOPE AMT haptical feedback at zero-crossing (on my GM) which gives you the chance to work blindly on this control. Would be great if moog introduced this zero-crossing mechanical feedback for all their gear with -/0/+ controls. Could it be introduced aftermarket...

Re: My Grandmother is acting funky
(watching) Weird behaviour. As long as you don't exceed +/- 10 V you will not mess up the electronic in modern modular systems. You can connect the patch points also with some outboard electronic or even a battery pack (below 10 V): Works as expected. I did far more erratic patch stuff and never had...

Can confirm is normal GM behaviour.
You can get very divers ARP EG profiles playing around with VCA MODE setting, as well as patching -ENV > VCA AMT IN (will invert the EG profile).

Re: Grandmother Dark constant background note
Having tried several analog synths (orlder and newer) over the past years, I realized this seems to be a common issue in analog heaven. Long time I thought this is a problem of my old cheap mixer board. But no: If I listen carefully, my GM has exactly the same problem. It doesn't really bother me, b...
