I bet they will release a software update after it is released, hopefully listening to suggestions on the forum. Maybe after a few people get theirs we can start a poll or list here of suggested features.

Even if the wheels aren't too great, one could still use expression pedals, right?

You can try playing with various noise gates or maybe set up a evelope controlled filter to be really transparent with a long attack and a quick decay to no sustain.
If Moog made a VCAfooger it would be really useful, or maybe incorporate some cv-ins on the CP-251 mixer.

The Carrier In is just an input for using a different source as the carrier oscillator. Try to plug a clock pulse to the RATE. :)

I vote for an analog step sequencer in a 2 space rackmount form (with wood side panels), essentially the size of 2 cp-251's. 16 steps, each with one red led, one small metal toggle switch, and one classic Moog knob. It could also have a MIDI In so you could use a computer pattern editor and drop pat...

It's seems impossible that there won't be a way to hold a note w/o yr foot on the pedal....
What about setting the Decay to max?

While it would be useful to have total automation control over moogerfoogers, I think that that would take all of the fun out of patching things and being surprised. I think OSC is a little to wide ranging to be a new standard, but MIDI definitely needs a modern spec overhaul.

As soon as i rip open the box, I'll plug it into my Carvin bass stack with 4X10 and a 1X18 (for the kind of bass that makes you change your pants) and then probably after I recover from that I'll try it through and Ampeg V4 and a Marshall cab with various fuzz pedals and phasers. :D

Not Getting Updates...

I emailed Moog about this a few days ago but have not received a response, so I decided to post here to get a response (feel free to move). I ordered my Taurus 3 a few months ago, and the dealer wanted $550 then and the rest later. They did not ask for my email address, so I have not gotten any of t...

What if you routed the voyager's audio into live, and then put a compressor being sidechained from a kick. On the kick track you could have different clips with different divisions and patterns. this wouldn't work for most uses, but it might be good for some wobble. btw I have been browsing this for...
