Re: Announcing the Animoog Players Map
I'll be adding myself to the map in the near future, when I get access to my main PC. My location though is quite simple: somewhere in the Los Angeles, CA area.

Re: iOS 8.3 warning (backing up/restoring timbres)
Well, sadly these "fixes" really don't do anything useful except allow access to the same iTunes File Sharing system that only allows access to the *presets* in Animoog. In effect, it does exactly the same thing as iTunes File Sharing does. You still cannot access the *timbres*, either to ...

Re: iOS 8.3 warning (backing up/restoring timbres)
Hunting around and translating web pages to English, it seems as though the developer for iTools is aware of the issue as well and is working on fix. This is great news for myself because this was the one Mac application that let you save installed apps on your device as .ipa (iPod/iPhone/iPad Appli...

Re: iOS 8.3 warning (backing up/restoring timbres)
Looks like the developer of iExplorer knows of the problem and says the issue is under investigation. There's at least hope on that particular app but I've actually never used it for the purpose of backing up/transferring user timbres and presets. http://iexplorer-support.macroplant.com/customer/por...

Re: iOS 8.3 warning (backing up/restoring timbres)
Doing some searching & reading around, it seems this change in iOS 8.3 was intentional by Apple, likely to further "secure" iOS but at the same time, locking users out of accessing their data from the device. Typical... It also seems that the developers of these iOS device acces...

iOS 8.3 warning (backing up/restoring timbres)
The newly released iOS 8.3 breaks connectivity & functionality between iOS devices and any software you may have that will allow you to access the iOS file system, especially in each app's "documents" folder. Programs like iFunBox, iTools and similar programs no longer work for the pur...

Re: Root folder contains copies of all presets!?!
Unless I'm mistaken, the timbres are now all in the /Library/Caches/categories folder... is this the same for you? Same for me on all my iPads (iPad mini 2, iPad 4, iPad Air 2). Having these timbres sitting in the Caches folder is like shooting yourself in the foot, anytime you want to restore your...

Re: Animoog 2.2.3 Released
It did not fix the "Can't put any timbres into the timbre array" bug :-( And along the same line, why on earth are timbres stored in a "caches" folder on the iPad where they can easily get wiped out when clearing caches on the device? This is NOT the case for the iPhone version....

Re: Animoog will not load timbres
I think these lost timbre issues all stem from the fact that Animoog (iPad version) stores all *downloaded* timbres in a "caches" folder on the iOS device which is very prone to getting wiped out when the cache folders on the iPad are cleared, either by "memory cleaning" apps or ...

Re: Animoog will not load timbres
Hi, I'm the developer working on the Animoog. A couple of questions: This is slightly related... The Animoog for iPad version stores the downloaded samples in the Animoog app's caches folder on the device (the iPhone version does NOT store the samples in the caches folder but elsewhere). This is a ...

Re: Animoog 2.2.1 and Animoog for iPhone 1.1.3 Released
A graphical glitch with Animoog for iPhone 1.1.3 on the iPhone 5 under iOS 7.1.2: The splash Animoog title/startup screen is now displayed in portrait rotation with the landscape image being squished horizontally to fit. It's pretty ugly but doesn't seem to affect other operations. This is using Ani...

Re: Animoog 2.1.0: 4Track promotional period?
It's nice of them to provide the 4 track but some explanation should be given for the "network only" disabler. I would like to believe that this 4 track disabling if not connected online is a big boo-boo on Moog's part. To cripple an App simply because the user is not connected to the int...
