i'd rather have it on the filter i don't really like velocity on amp just doesn't feel natural unless your playing a real piano or rhodes or whatever even digital pianos feel too well... digital to have a usable velocity (for me anyway) all just my opinion of course, but i think that filter is a bet...

it will be my first moog too! well unless you count the delay and theremin the only digitals i have used are DX synths and soft-synths and i much prefer my vitage rolands, but i have a strong feeling that i'm gonna like the LP the best, oh yeah i used the arturia minimoog v demo, and i love that! i ...

I currently only have the MF104sd and my LP should arive in another 2 or 3 weeks, but this is my long term plan for things to come after i get my LP 1st, get a cp251 2nd, get a MAPS wich looks like an awesome seq, but also using it as a midi-cv will give you outputs for pitch, gate, velocity and the...

Thanks! that's just the sort of thing i wanted to know. hmm, maybe i should try to get a broken Odyssey then? that would be awesome, but would a prodigy be even more simple, just more $$ ? yeah it's an area i want to venture into one day and slowly build up the skills to fix my synths should the nee...

easiest moog to fix
ok, i'm not looking at getting a synth right now (cause i'm going to receive my LP soon) but at some point i'd like to get a vintage moog. what i'd like to know is which of them will be the easiest to fix electronically, as in which one has the most simple design and would be easy for someone to lea...

never tried a tape delay b4 but the 104 is definitely a cool piece of gear, i just love scaling the amount of feedback (or other parameters) up and down the keyboard using your synths CV out. i'd say it would be really good for you as it won't die on you and will work well with your other foogers, i...

do you know about other synths? what do you know about music/sound in general? it's hard to judge where to start without a reference point, for me one of the coolest things about moog gear is all the CV stuff i was drawn to this site by the theremins but have always played synth and soon i will have...

i think there should be another option LP plus all the leftover money that you would have spent on the RME on foogers LP + 104z + cp251 would be very cool combo that could do a lot that a voyager couldn't a stage edition + cp251 + 104z + 102 should cost around $2387 as opposed to the RME $2395. to m...

stand alone touch pad
just thinking about a stand alone controller
i think it would be a great idea for users of the foogers/LP/modulars
they could stick a midi output on it as well, with assignable CC selection for each dimension of control
or not.
who knows?

voyager edit software with LP?
well they are designed to be compatible with each other so maybe it would work
otherwise do you think they'll come out with a separate edit program?

maybe pushing the mixer on the older synths (mini, source) adds some more overtones to make the sound brighter with more high end sizzle maybe the voyager gives a more accurate sound with less distortions try setting the VCO levels a bit lower (on the source) than max and then compare it to your voy...

"an as yet unreleased goody!"
what do you guys think it could be?
a moogerfooger?
whatever it is, i can't wait to see it. the project that Cyril proved himself to Bob with!
btw, if you have no idea what i'm talking about read the "Moog One Year Later" article, it's a good read.
